I love scrambled eggs or omelettes  for breakfast, but I hate washing up the apparatus to make them. It's such a pain. That is why I picked only in hotels.

At home, hardly a day goes by without a sausage breakfast, but no eggs.  Eggs are for travelers.

I put eggs in my daily breakfast vegetable&mushroom "chanko" mix, prepared in the wok fry pan for 3 weeks in advance and frozen in portions of a bit under 300g, one on average contains 1/3 of an egg. Reheated in the micro-oven in the morning, I eat it with an apple.

I like eggs for breakfast on weekends occasionally (egg and bacon sandwiches with hash browns, mmmmmmmm!) but most times I add an egg to ramen for an egg drop soup for dinner when I don't want to put much effort into cooking.

I've got a few chickens that lay blue-shelled eggs so I usually have a nice poached egg on toast most mornings. They tend to go off laying in the depths of Winter due to the lack of light and moulting, so it's just toast then.

When I have morning shift, I usually eat “Yellow rice”, one kind of Indonesian breakfast food. Usually there is boiled egg in yellow rice like this image (image from google, try google “nasi kuning”)

My favorite breakfast is scrambled eggs with bacon and hash browns. That’s only a weekend breakfast though. Weekday breakfast before work is usually some muesli with yogurt.

I've a got a nice trio of Cream Crested Legbars, they lay blue eggs. They eat 'Layers Pellets' (a commercial feed for laying hens) and get a handful of corn in the evenings. They will also graze on grass, bugs and anything else they find throughout the day!

They are very cute :-)

I fully intend to get chickens when I move in the hopefully near future. We were looking at Welsummers, but these are now totally on the list of possibilities!

I love eggs but only eat them when I'm out at a restaurant for breakfast, which is at most a few times a year.

I love the smell of fried egg in the morning! But usually I don't have much time in the morning, so just toast and cheese. So, only in hotels.

I used to every morning. I started having an allergic reaction to eggs when I was 19 years old so that put an end to me eating eggs.

Eggs are the best. Omelets are my go-to breakfast at home, but if I'm at a restaurant I'll always have the eggs benedict.

As my father told a tourist seeking a traditional breakfast, a full Greek breakfast consists of a coffee and seven cigarettes. As I don't smoke and hardly ever drink coffee, I usually find myself having lunch as the first meal of the day.

As a go-to light meal, however, I very often have a pair of scrambled eggs with sautéed mushrooms and/or onions, but I don't discriminate by time of day.

In the 1950s when the Egg Marketing Board in the UK started the 'go to work on an egg' campaign.

There is the full English breakfast. around in one form or another for roughly 700 years. It seems that since the Edwardian period the in ingredients have been standardized to include eggs.

There was a 1990s documentary about rural life in Bavaria which carried the unforgettable title „The egg is a sh*tted godsend“ (the German title was highly alliterative and sounded much better - Das Ei ist eine geschissene Gottesgabe.

That nicely wraps my adoration for eggs. Though I don‘t eat breakfast, eggs (whether boiled, scrambled, or fried) belong to the small category of things that consistently can make me very happy.
