In this simple game, you choose the GAMERS you think will score the most in the Superbanzuke Masters series. Go to this link and choose ONE player from each of the categories below: 1-5 6-10 11-20 21-40 41-80 81-120 121-200 201+ for a total of eight players. If you would like to choose one of the many recent promising new players WHO ARE NOT listed in the 2020 final standings, please place them in the 201+ category. Please post your picks in this thread. The deadline is shonichi of the Hatsu Basho 2021. The winner gets a free excavator tour through the Eifel region. Good luck! Gurowake 4,109 Posted December 16, 2020 I would like to remind people that might be unaware that it is not particularly likely that I will be playing most SB games (only GTB) for the foreseeable future. I did recently update my engine with all the bouts of the last year, but that was mainly because I was curious about what rankings it would spit out and not because I thought I would use it any time soon. Athenayama 1,081 Posted December 16, 2020 1 - 5 Pandaazuma (Even if I sensed a feeling of "tireness" lately, I'm confident that this champion will want his throne back in 2021!). 6 - 10 Susanoo (Not an easy pick here, I bet on the regular results throughout the years of this champion). 11 - 20 Kaito ( I really didn't think long in that category.... don't make me wrong dude !). 21 - 40 Gonzaburow (Usually we vote for ourselves, right? But too many valuable opponents here, I'll play modesty. My first choice was Terarno but we need a Lady in our team! I just want to reassure the 3 "dumb" who voted for me earlier that I'll do my best though! ). 41 - 80 Konosato (He has been playing the "yo-yo" these past years so 2021 should be a top 10?). 81 - 120 Gansekiwa (Did he reach his peak in 2019? I bet he can go back there. Atenzan was my second choice, I believe he can do much better in 2021). 121 - 200 Okisuruga (My first choice was Saruyama. I'm pretty sure his real rank is much higher. I'm just sad that others saw that too so I had to choose someone else). 201+ Mariohana (What does he do at this rank category??? I think as an outsider, I'd pick Ganz based the confidence he's displayed in this topic, his history, and his Makuuchi advantage in Bench and SG. But naaah, I'll back myself. I'm not satisfied with 11th either.) 21-40 ScreechingOwl (Plays all the games and plays them well. Very safe pick with good upside.) 41-80 Konosato (Finished 2nd in number of Top 10s in 2 of the last 5 years. I think he's just been a bit unlucky about picking up small change instead of the bigger chunks over the years. Great value here.) 81-120 Gansekiiwa (He's been MIA for a bit. I was looking at Chocshoporyu or Tenshinhan but Gansekiiwa has entered GTB for Hatsu, so I'll hope he's back in all games.) 121-200 Ruziklao (This again seems like the toughest place to find somebody with big potential. I was looking at Sukubidubidu and some of the others mentioned already but I dunno. Maybe this'll be the year Ruziklao rebounds.) 201+ Mariohana (Similar to Gansekiiwa. He disappeared after the cancelled basho, but he's in for Hatsu GTB. Maybe if I remember, I'll check if they sign up for other games and change picks if needed.
