  1. Maegashira game Hatsu Basho 2018

The basho is over. There has not been a Maegashira game. That makes me very sad. Sad, above all, because no one has bothered to tell us why the whole Basho nobody gave free the entry or why not was possible to give free the entry for the game. I know what a hard work Doitsuyama does and I can understand many many things – if they are declared with no much words for me and for all, who are interested. Of course I agree that after two or three days it would not have made sense to finish the game regularly. But we could have played a kind of friendship game without an entrance to the banzuke, just as a kind of invitation for new prospects. I'm as ever still interested in an explaining why the game was not opened - or could not be opened. If someone agrees to make the game program earlier to supervise, I'm also willing to change the rules to help for the programming and make the game better to supervise. This somebody should contact me please. So: I (and I think many more of the previous players) still hope that we can play a new Maegashira game in March. I wrote the same text into the Games bugs thread. Profomisakari

    Yesterday I gave a long comment about the win chances for today or tomorrow. Now we have the torikumi for Senshuraku and we see: There will no more bout be, not today and not tomorrow. And as for the both open bouts in Jims list nobody has given an X vote, we can state: The yesterday posted ranking table is too the final ranking. Congratulation Susanoo !!! Conratulation too to Sakura, who long time looked like the sure winner. She lost the final fight, but won a very good Jun Yusho. Over the red lamp we wrap the mantle of silence Who knows who will win in the next basho? Here is once more the final ranking: Rk Player. . . . . . Pts TB 1 Susanoo . . . . . 14 201 2 Sakura. . . . . . 13 179 3 Tochinofuji . . . 12 165 4 Chishafuwaku. . . 12 165 5 Shatsume. . . . . 12 177 6 Gurowake. . . . . 12 178 7 Benihana. . . . . 12 181 8 CT3*, . . . . . . 11 164 9 Tenshinhan. . . . 11 168 10 Wamahada. . . . . 11 168 11 Achiyama. . . . . 11 172 12 Suwihuto. . . . . 10 129 13 Shokikogi . . . . 10 135 14 Flohru. . . . . . 10 145 15 Andonishiki . . . 10 147 16 Fujisan . . . . . 10 151 17 Peeter. . . . . . 10 152 18 Raeucherlax . . . 10 154 19 Chisaiyama. . . . 9 142 20 Mmikasazuma . . . 9 144 21 Profomisakari . . 9 147 22 Tsubame . . . . . 8 101 23 Burajirotono. . . 8 118 24 Asojima . . . . . 8 127 25 Wakatake. . . . . 8 127 26 Inhashi . . . . . 7 88 27 Shimodahito . . . 7 107 28 Pandaazuma. . . . 5 72 Once more congratulation, thanks to al players for participation and to Jim for the once more good bout selection. We had one bout today and with almost certainly probability we have the name of the winner. Tochonoshin won against Ichinojo. From the two leaders Susanoo had him, Sakura had him not. So leads now Susanoo with one point before Sakura. There are still too bouts , which until today not took place. Nobody has one of them voted as X. If they tomorrow or on Senshuraku not will be, the current result will be the final. About bout 1 nobody believes that it will be. Bout 4 is not on tomorrow's torikumi. We must wait for th Senshuraku torikumi . If there ist the Kotoshogiku Hokutofuji bout, and Hoku wins, then Sakura can reach the same points as Susanoo. She voted for Hokutofuji, Susanoo for Kotoshogiku. The only seven votes for Kotoshogiku set her TB1 to 186 and let Sakura win. If Shogi wins is no problem for Susanoo. As we see: Bout four brings the decision. If he takes place or not Or who wins the bout. This ist the next-to-last ranking table: Rk Player. . . . . . Pts TB 1 Susanoo . . . . . 14 201 2 Sakura. . . . . . 13 179 3 Tochinofuji . . . 12 165 4 Chishafuwaku. . . 12 165 5 Shatsume. . . . . 12 177 6 Gurowake. . . . . 12 178 7 Benihana. . . . . 12 181 8 CT3*, . . . . . . 11 164 9 Tenshinhan. . . . 11 168 10 Wamahada. . . . . 11 168 11 Achiyama. . . . . 11 172 12 Suwihuto. . . . . 10 129 13 Shokikogi . . . . 10 135 14 Flohru. . . . . . 10 145 15 Andonishiki . . . 10 147 16 Fujisan . . . . . 10 151 17 Peeter. . . . . . 10 152 18 Raeucherlax . . . 10 154 19 Chisaiyama. . . . 9 142 20 Mmikasazuma . . . 9 144 21 Profomisakari . . 9 147 22 Tsubame . . . . . 8 101 23 Burajirotono. . . 8 118 24 Asojima . . . . . 8 127 25 Wakatake. . . . . 8 127 26 Inhashi . . . . . 7 88 27 Shimodahito . . . 7 107 28 Pandaazuma. . . . 5 72 Profomisakari

On day 11 and 12 were no bouts. For day 13 we find on the torikumi the 6th bout Ichinojo vs Tochinoshin. Because the bout will take place, two of the leading players will not get the point: Sakura and Gurowake, who picked X. But the bout will take place. Nevertheless: for the first in the ranking is still all possible. Profo

On day 10 we had one bout again. Even though there was with Yoshikaze only one rikishi on the dohyo, his Fusen Sho counts as a win for B. Sakura continues to lead before Susanoo with the same score and better TB1. There will be no game 21 bout tomorrow. Rk Player. . . . . .
