After a thread reaches a certain amount of posts, the picture-text-ratio is automatically checked. If it turns out to have too much text (the Boring-Threshold), it will be deleted by default. This is meant to keep consumers healthy, happy and independent of overly complicated "content". Usually this feature is accompanied by the auto-creation of a new thread that includes pictures of pets, kids or both.
