And it stars Naoto Takenaka, one of the best comic actors of all time. Of course, I've gone through all versions of Shinya Shokudo. I know what you mean. I don't watch much TV content from here except for Bob's Burgers and a couple of shows that are explicitly dumb fun. Cannonball and the Masked Singer, currently. In that increasingly toned down dumbed down environment, programs like My Music already disappeared together with the brilliance of Frank Muir and Dennis Norden. All gone now and hardly anyone remembers them now... oh well, I am just an old biddy that grew up with the Goon Show and Mornington Crescent. Auntie is doing her level best to cater for the YouTube generation. Has anyone here ever seen 'Fo a Fe'? I loved Muir and Norden; we got audio of "My Word" on the NPR station back in the day. I remember Frank Muir and Dennis Norden with great fondness, also who could forget Diana Rigg as Emma Peel? Very instructive for non Americans who are not so familiar with American history. Maybe also instructive for some Americans who don't know all the details? I highly recommend it to all. The later seasons weren’t the greatest but all in all the series did a great job of showing the life of Clark Kent from high school to becoming Superman. All time favorite honors would go to one of the Star Trek franchises. TNG and DS9 in particular I still enjoy watching from time to time. Other honorable mentions go to Stargate SG1, Highlander, and Shark Tank. Yamanashi 3,911 Posted October 9, 2020 Don't know if I mentioned this, but starting in March I binge-watched various documentaries online ( I found I couldn't grade tests and reports in pdf format for very long w/o wanting to jump out a window). Time Team was a revelation! My wife trained as an archaeologist, and I'm a big history buff, so these were great. I must have watched 110 of them. (They did start to suck in the last couple of seasons). Lately, I've been watching Rick Beato's videos ("What makes this song so great", etc.) and a video series on languages and linguistics (NativLang).
