At this point it's senseless to feel sorry for Takayasu.

I think Onosato (and Takerufuji eventually) will make really good yokozuna. They have something that Hoshoryu lacks: consistency.

https://news.yahoo.co.jp/articles/2b830f03bfc9d0eb57173762db73e57facdbee8c?page=2 Rumblings in the mainstream press now about Kasugano pushing for closing down Nishonoseki, Kyokai PR saying "we have no answer at the moment"..

The song Takayasu and his wife sing 1:04:00 onwards is so beautiful and natsukashii.

    Nishonoseki Beya Drinking Party Scandal

All the Hinkaku in the world is worthless if such vile things are happening under your watch. As someone pointed out, Nishonoseki did a dissertation on how to run the ideal heya. And now this comes out? This should be all over the newspapers with NSK coming down on Nishonoseki as they did with Miyagino.

    Nishonoseki Beya Drinking Party Scandal

Moto Kisenosato was their last blue eyed boy Japanese born Yokozuna. Onosato is their next hopeful. It should be clear why things have been hushed up for 2 years.
  11. Rotten fellow for sure. No matter whether or how overblown by the tabloid, Caesar's monkey should be above suspicion.

A lot of old Japanese use Gaijin-san also in a polite manner. Indeed, in the Showa-era that was quite the norm. Gaikokujin usage became more apparent Heisei onwards.

Omedeto! Hoping he puts on some more weight by Haru too!
