They're giving everyone a chance to soak in the spotlight, it seems. Day 1: Hananoumi Day 2: Kototsubasa (despite Kotozakura's absence) Day 3: Kamito They are announced in Japanese, but sadly the English version skips the performer's shikona. RabidJohn 2,069 Posted October 17 Hmm, back to being a bit of a pantomime today... So, I amused myself by mentally yelling "OH NO, HE DIDN'T!" at Hiro's commentary. Bit short of okuri moves for "HE'S BEHIND YOU!', though.

I guess he could lose tomorrow, if he doesn't today. I don't see them setting up a playoff for him. It wouldn't be completely out of the question to set up a Takayasu yusho or Aonishiki yusho storyline, but it doesn't seem in the spirit of the event. I don't know if a Takayasu yusho is more romantic or insulting. Wouldn't complain about an Ao's yusho but he's not their golden boy. I am absolutely loving all the London coverage, but am getting allergic to Hiro's voice at this point :D When they show the empty dohyo from above, my partner lets out a nostalgic "Hello, Mr. Dohyo". Kuhne 57 Posted October 18 Hello all. I rarely comment here. But it was important to communicate how much garbage I think this tournament is. I get it. No one wants to get hurt for November but Jesus Christ I have seen better acting in Russian porn hub videos. Here’s hoping at least when both yokos go at it they won’t hold back as they have less to worry about rankwise if they get hurt.
RabidJohn 2,069 Posted October 18 Tamawashi and Abi slapping each other about looked quite convincing. There was quite a bit more of that sort of thing in 1991. Surprised they let Tobizaru through unbeaten. Maybe they're aiming for a kettei-sen.

Kajiyanosho 66 Posted October 18 Okay, I understand the feeling everyone has about the bouts when the organisers insist with the line that it's a "real" one. But I just saw Tobizaru missing the bus to the hotel. Someone lent him a bike renting card and he whizzed away on one. Priceless. 1
