Moti, because of your reports and pre-basho video report, last basho I got Jun-yusho in Bench Sumo and promotion to Sanyaku, a 13-2 in the Hoshitori Contest, a 14-1 in the UHD Contest, second in Ciber Sumo, won Salary Cap, and jun-yusho in Kumi. Thanks for the report, Kintamayama-san. I've given up on looking for sumo news. I just don't see much reporting in English, and from your video I hear that you're not getting too much in multiple languages. Ura should have had surgery already. I've had two ACLs. If he's blown the knee, surgery is the only hope and not a sure thing. I hope he pulls out, as if he's limping on the way to the dohyo, there's no chance of a good showing, IMO. Probably, it's looking like another Kise-Hakuho showdown, but having watched for only a year, or so, it's pretty obvious that anything could happen.

Oh, but I have a daily newsletter with all news, which is copied here as well. Believe me, it's pretty thorough, taken from Japanese sources. The problem is that not much is being reported about certain rikishi, while others are getting over-hyped and over-reported, resulting in their getting overly-nervous, for sure.

"The basho starts tomorrow, and I was planning on going but it appears that I will probably be watching most of it on TV . I  have tickets for all 15 days, so if there is someone out there who can go, please contact me."

I've decided that I'll (try to) cover the first basho of the six rookies in jonokuchi (plus underranked Kotoseigo and Amatsu, who will probably become yusho-relevant anyway), so there are some extra Jk bouts for the first two days now (link also includes those for Day 3, more stuff from other divisions perhaps later).
