I'm not having any luck in getting into SekiToto to see day 1 results or make day 2 picks. My cache has been cleared, but the site is timing out. ("The server at sekitoto.sumogames.com is taking too long to respond.")

You'd think so, wouldn't you. However, even a straight "sekitoto.sumogames.de" takes you to anasuya.com, which is still all linked to sumogames.com. (seriously, try it: sekitoto.sumogames.de )

I don't have my bookmarks, which is why I'm asking, but I suspect there's something after the .de that's needed to get to the right place.

- go to the Sumo Game Deadlines page

- click on the "Rules" button (it's the only link that works), the SekiToto Rules page loads (on the .de domain)

- on the SekiToto page, you click on "Entry" or "Results" and you should get there

BTW, I clicked on your link and it worked...

Doesn't work for me. The sekitoto,sumogames.de link (that, and that alone, nothing after the .de) redirects to anasuya.com, and the links from there are all to sumogames.com or anasuya.com as I described. I just tried it again.

Now that I'm home, and have access to my bookmarks, my speculation about something else being needed after the .de is correct. Entry.aspx, Standing.aspx, Register.aspx and Rules.html make sekitoto.sumogames.de work.

Try bookmarking strongoak.net/sb/ . That might help a little.

Finally found a bit of time to look through the state of play. Looks like Hoshitori needs its usual kick in the balls. Roto is not divided into divisions...when it's sorted out I won't be as far down the table as I currently am.

Oh...and the Sumogames server is down! ;)

The Juryo Game bugs are usually ironed out at the end of the basho, if I recall correctly, so don't worry, lads and lasses.

Interesting one in Hoshitori: Tochiozan is listed as 2-2 after day 5.

That issue is present on the main DB, too, and also for today's opponent Chiyootori (1-3 instead of 1-4). Looks like something prevented their running totals and their hoshitori markers from being updated when the bout result (which itself was registered correctly) came in.

Edit: Toyohibiki-Kitataiki and Takanoiwa-Tokitenku were affected, too.

Looks like that weird bug has struck again...Homarefuji and Sotairyu didn't get their result counted today on the database, and no doubt that has affected the games too.

Something is ailing the sumogames.de server. It responds to ping requests fine, but it's very difficult to get anything to load. I managed to get in my pick for ISP and started looking at Odd Sumo, but now I can't connect. The normal database pages load eventually, but any queries end up taking too long to resolve and time out.
