While the western zodiacsigns indicate the months, the Japanese eto sign (12 sorts of animals) represents years in turn.. This year's eto the boar, next year's rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, and dog. I got many nice phonecalls...was very happy, even the one coming a day too late was a highlight. Osaka is cool so far (If you don't try to find the JR-station...)
