inhashi 2,363 Posted January 18, 2018 Keep in mind this is a man that kept a severed tendon and ligament (right toe) for years without knowing and thinking that it was just his body becoming stiff with time. It would cause frequent dislocations because of the severed tendon yet he would just continue sumo by taping the area. He was without any kind of visible physical difficulty that even he was aware of. That was the only time I recall Hakuho withdrawing from a basho that started in 2015.
