Would it be possible to have a bout query option to exclude fusen? This would be extremely useful for looking up kinboshi, for one.

Something like this?

Are improvements to the games sites in the cards, too? I would really, really love to see Seki-Toto brought in line with the other games, in particular the addition of an automated banzuke page, and the replacement for anything relevant that's still hosted on Zenjimoto's anasuya.com (mainly because the links on there are dead as they still point back to sumogames.com).

I love the new search feature that gives the rikishi id page directly now for a unique shikona, so far it was a search link and I had to open a result page in it to get to the id link

That's in place for a fairly long time by now..

Fairly long time I didn't added a link from such a page then (first time now since the blacklist error struck) - but I don't think it is there for more than 6 months, which for me isn't very long.

Really long time not updated now is the name of Isegahama ichimon - it returned to that name end of 2012

Definitely longer. I can't even remember a time when a single hit didn't lead to a direct link.

Right, this more general report of that issue slipped through the cracks last year:

The previous Oshima-beya was closed in April 2012, but the DB has its wrestlers still as a part of it for May even though they already competed out of Tomozuna. (Probably because the closure came after the banzuke release, so when the basho data was exported from the Kyokai site it still showed Oshima.)

Hmm, I wonder if this is a correction from the start or a change at some time...

His school, Saitama Sakae is in Saitama city, Nishi-ku - he was likely just registered as Saitama Sakae high shusshin at first and for the banzuke  they changed it to his proper birthplace.

This basho it's Hoshoryu's turn to be Yokozuna-Ozeki, so his rank in the database should be Y1wYO

I see the buzz on the new recruits thread regarding the two BIG mongolians.  If you need shuushin for the database:
Ганбатын Отгонбат (Ganbatyn Otgonbat) born in Хэнтий аймгийн (Khentii aimag/prefecture) May 18, 2004.
Батцэцэгийн Очирсайхан (Battsetsegiin Ochirsaikhan) born in Улаанбаатар (Ulaanbaatar) -- still trying to confirm a birth date.

A recent Mongolian press article claims he is 23 years old; another one dated July 21 called him a 22-year old. This is as close as we can pinpoint it at the moment, I guess.

The Abi - Kirishima head-to-head is off by a large number of bouts.

Seems to have been correct at 9-8 following Natsu but fallen incorrect to 4-0 during Nagoya.

Apparently the stats got transposed with those of the next bout that day:

hoshi_kuro.gif M3e
Onokatsu
0-2 (6-9)

yorikiri
8-10
S2w
Wakatakakage
2-0 (10-5)
hoshi_shiro.gif
hoshi_kuro.gif M2w
Abi
1-1 (9-6)

uwatenage
0-4
S1w
Kirishima
2-0 (8-7)
hoshi_shiro.gif

Onokatsu - Wakatakakage is also wrong and should be 0-4.

There are a number of Jonidan debuts not highlighted as such on the current banzuke.  Thanks for all the great data!

Can you name a few examples?

Nope -- mental error on my part.  Covid is affecting my brain.

If I may, a change request for something that has been a low-level annoyance to me for years:

When looking at a rikishi's bout-by-bout results for a basho, the head-to-head links in there are constructed based on the East/West assignments of the bouts, which (at least to me) leads to astonishing display quirks. Example, Hoshoryu and Onosato from the last basho:

Hoshoryu's results - the links in there (e.g. the 16-4 on Wakamotoharu's line) are all constructed as "Hoshoryu vs. X" because he was the East side rikishi in all those bouts. Conversely...
Onosato's results - for him, all the links (again e.g. the 6-2 with Wakamotoharu) are constructed as "X vs. Onosato" because he was the West side rikishi for them.

That's even more confusing for rikishi below Y1 of course because they'll have some bouts fighting from the East and some from the West in the same basho. IMHO, if I'm going to a head-to-head page from a specific rikishi's data, it should consistently display it with that rikishi on the left-hand side, so that the values match on both pages (i.e. both 6-2 in the Wakamotoharu example, not 6-2 on one and 2-6 on the other).
