Randomitsuki 2,898 Posted October 3, 2006 Happy birthday, Fujisan!! Here's some good birthday news that I've found for you on the Net (I know that you're very interested in this). GRIMSBY: LOCAL WOLF DOES IT AGAIN According to some sumo gaming sources Grimsby whizkid Paul Fujisan managed to finish in the top 3 of the Superbanzuke Masters for the second time in a row, at least in the provisional standings. With the second exceptional record in as many bashos he finally entered into the top 10 of the current Sumo Gaming World Championships, thereby securing that his "ugly mug", as Fujisan likes to put it, will appear on the website of the legendary gaming headquarter. "The fact that Fujisan probably also sits on the very top of a single game banzuke for the first time in his career must be icing on the cake", an official from the Juryo Game Banzukemaking Committee commented on the events. Jonosuke 28 Posted October 3, 2006 (edited) The only person I have ever known that sumo cannot do without. If it weren't for him, we would have had to have invented one so he could play the game. Fuji, you do confirm my view that one can be a sumo fan at any level and you are certainly at the top of the summit. Have a pint or two of your favorite and think nice thought, dude. Thank you Randomitsuki (Neener, neener...) I must say I never thought I would ever reach the dizzy heights of last basho again but to not only equal it but to surpass it the very next basho is just amazing. The fact that I spent most of the basho scraping my bum on the bottom of the rankings in most of the games makes it even more amazing. Juryo game, normally a game I do very well in I have actually struggled for these two basho falling to Mk last basho and scraping a small 8-7 this time but being the only Ozeki to get his KK this time made the difference I guess,I'm just pleased to keep my rank and promise to do better next time. To the most friendly member of our forum: -FORTUNE TO YOU AND YOURS FAMILY. BE HAPPY. Thank you,if you let me win the odd game of chess that would be a nice gift. (Cheers...) Thank you Jonosuke- It took me a while to get the Fuji-summit comment but it brought a smile to my face nonetheless. And its been a pint of coke for seven and a half years now but thanks I will. Kaikitsune Makoto 210 Posted October 3, 2006 Congratulations for evading the testicular cancer prime age fast, one less danger ahead. 40 is a good age and middle age gets closer. Many say middle age crisis is fun. Be a man of honour and go through the 5th decade without a single yaocho bout in sumogames and you will be fine I am sure.
