Slipped in TTT to tie for 4th.  Still rolling for the Toto jun-yusho at 7-1.  5-3 in SG to tie inside the top 10, but lost the tiebreak in the Baka Cup for (I believe) a 5-3 lead in that, too.  Also in a large tie for 11th in Quad at 4-4.

Irritating day with dumb judges and bad gyoji-ing and nasty henkas spoiling all the fun. I'm still flying in multiple games. Nice slaughter of Scott as well to bring the Baka Cup within reach at 4-5. Having a good basho though and I'm up there with the other green mawashi contenders. Not looked in detail, but I think Chisha is having a strong basho.

Terrible basho with the worst day ever on Day 9. Lost every single daily game. And pre-bashos went crap also. I assume the 2.5 SB masters points from Chain Gang will be the highlight of Aki'19.

6-3 in SG despite it literally being my worst performance ever point wise. So very lucky there.

Kachi-koshi is on the table in Bench, currently sitting at 5-4 (13th in MCP!) which is awesome considering Hakuho and Ichinojo just sit at the bottom of the roster every day.

5-4 in ISP. Pre-basho games are very bad.

It truly is 'Wacky Aki' and the scoring reflects it, as we currently have the second-lowest average in Sumo Game history. A lack of almost any reliable picks will do that, of course, and this is possibly the first time in the history of the game that we are looking at an extended period of such uncertainty.

In Centipedal Makuuchi Stefan proudly leads the way with the joint highest score (all divisions) and a fine 7-3 record. He needs only one more win to stay in Makuuchi, and that must be the first order of business, and then he can look to yusho possibilities. Jan and Scott are one win behind and still very much in the race.

Unko gets our first winning record today in Juryo with a fairly easy slate of oppoents. He'll be making Mark very jealous, as he is 3-7 with a far superior score. Extremely bad luck there. He and Eric are now in the last-chance saloon.

And Ronnie also gets a kachi koshi and is still in the yusho hunt with Nekotaikai's loss.

Two thirds in and things are looking OK considering the massive uncertainty. Very good in Bench and Toto (8-2 in both). Still have Masters points chances in ISP and Tipspiel. SG has been very frustrating, as I have picked OK but kept meeting strong outliers. Still, as a Yokozuna, it is my fault for not picking better, so I will aim to win out. Pre-basho looks a lot better, with Masters potential especially in Hoshitori, Paper Oyakata, Bingo and Oracle, with possibilities in Norizo Cup (I got the special question right today, but no idea how many others did) and slight chances in Juryo Game (if Takanosho remembers how good he is). Green Mawashi looks currently to be a battle between Chisha and Susanoo along with myself.

And I restored parity in the Baka Cup. Can I win from 1-5 down? GAMBARIMASU!

Stefan won again for his KK and guaranteed Makuuchi survival. He can now go on and try to win the big prize against some top-quality players. Scott won too despite the headache and is still in contention.

Unko leads the Juryo yusho race jointly now. Ronnie is right up there in the Makushita race too. And our first losing goes to one of the unluckiest players in the whole game (as well as Bench). Poor old Fujiyama. Excellent scoring but a day 11 losing record is not very pleasant at all.

I have to go away until next week so am unable to update these stats. I believe Owl will be stepping into the breach...many thanks to him. Good luck all...bring those trophies home.

Back inside the top 10 in Quad, in a massive tie for 8tth.  A fantasic 9-3 in Toto for a 3-way tie for 4th, one behind the leading group.  4-way tie for 3rd in TTT behind the lone yusho leader and lone jun-yusho leader.  FINALLY got a hit in Odd--now to win at least one more (and more likely two more) to make it up to the points.  Also killed it in SG for a 5-way tie for 3rd, one win behind the leaders, and equalizing the Baka Cup to 6-6.

I have very little time for the games. Just hoping to limp over the line. At least I got my KK in SG before meeting the two ozeki. And my Odd bet today was hilarious. How the hell did that come off?

Not surprised that came off. The only iffy picks were Daeisho and Asanoyama. I expected the rest to win. Given how terrible Chiyotairyu has been it's not surprising Daeisho won.  I did not expect Asanoyama to beat a KK seeking Tamawashi though given his record against him and the fact he had his KK already. Very good bet.

Day 13 yielded some positive notes: Pandazuma, Haidouzo, Chocshoporyu, and Gawasusukko lead the way with 9s. Unkonoyama and Gawasugokko won their 11^th victories, to stay tied for the lead in juryo and makushita, respectively (although trailing in the tiebreaker of points). Pandaazuma, Choshoporyu, and Chishafu got their all important 8^th wins. Let’s see what tomorrow brings. Ganbare!

P.S. Great thanks to Dustin for helping out on Day 12. I had a long day at work and although I finished the table I'm not sure I'd have had the energy to post it. For day 14 and senshuraku I'm off, so I'll attempt to post the results with Panda-like promptness.

Day 14 finds Sagi leading the way with a strong 8. There is a five way tie for the yusho lead going into senshuraku, with the centipedes having two of the leaders, Haidouzo and Sagi. Since two of the leaders (Norizo and Trender) are matched against each other, it will require 11 victories to take the yusho. Sagi is tied with Norizo and Trender with 92 points, so he needs to both win and get at least as many points as the higher scorer between the two. Haidouzo is 5 points behind, so he’ll be playing for the jun-yusho. Pandaazuma could theoretically finish in a tie for the jun-yusho and will certainly win a lot of gaming points should he triumph tomorrow.

In Juryo Unkonoyamq has 12 victories and will face the other joint leader on senshuraku, so a win will yield him the yusho. Gawasukotto is in a five-way tie for second in Makushita, and will need a win, to make up 2 points on two players, and for the leader to lose to take the yusho, which is a tall order.

No one who hasn’t already achieved kachi koshi will gain one tomorrow, but there is still pride and banzuke considerations at stake for everyone, so let’s all finish the basho on a high note. Ganbare!

With 2 winning rikishi on each of our squads, I squeaked out a 4-3 win to slow the bleeding in Bench for 6-8 and (at M11) I would imagine ensuring I'll remain in makuuchi.

A strong day in DST puts me 2 points away from 10th place.

Started off better in ISP but 9-5 isn't going to cut it this time.

I'll need a very big payoff in Odd to see any points.

My year of glory in Quad seems long past now, but 6-8 looks like I should be okay for banzuke-KK.

3-WAY TIE (ALONGSIDE THE PANDA) FOR TOTO YUSHO!

5-WAY TIE FOR SG YUSHO!  (But, as already calculated, I really can't possibly do better than a jun-yusho, with a win tonight.)

Too many late slips in TTT.  8-way tie for 3rd right now.

I'm not expecting anything from the pre-bashos, but Salarycap sometimes comes through for me regardless.
