Has the artist of the picture banzuke changed? Looks much more sloppy than they used to be.

Could somebody, who can read kanji, help me about the gyoji's name? Also, who are those guys at the two bottom corners? Would they be main yobidashi?
Can somebody please tell me their names also?

Thanks, in advance!

(I promise you, I'll start learning japanese, focusing on reading any kanji - I'm starting to recognize Hakuho's name written. But that's the easiest one, anyway...) :D

Same artist. Maybe the printing quality has gone down? Or possibly it's just a bad scan.

(I should say, the same artist is still being credited for it. Can't guarantee that it's actually the same person doing it, of course.)

in the middle below on top of course the tate-gyoji, being just one at the moment, the 4 below the sanyaku gyoji, ranks going down always east to west (right to left) according to the list: http://www.sumo.or.jp/EnSumoDataKyokaiMember/gyoji

Yobidashi in the lower corners accordingly http://www.sumo.or.jp/EnSumoDataKyokaiMember/yobidashi

If there are 2 (fuku-)tate-gyoji and -yobidashi, they will have them together in the upper row/right corner. I hadn't realized that there still isn't a 2nd top yobidashi either now.

(The last 9 banzuke have only 1 each, took me a while to find one with 2 each - the sample used for how one looks)

A new Takayasu item: Takayasu bread - Kise: the chocolate chest hair looks delicious

That doesn't explain why Ura's got such a small head...

web cartoonist doskoikumasan has made her mini-Kisenosato available for printing.

Unfortunately, it can only be done in Japan.

Here is what you get.

Anyone know where I can get that Mitakeumi tegata? When I visited Tokyo in May for the Natsu basho, they only had the hand-print version without his picture. The new tegata looks great and would really like one!

Mitakeumi's local official sponsor since Feb. 2016 has produced (cheer for) Mitakeumi goods - Ohtaki group, which runs restaurant and soba shops (they regularly serve "cheer for Mitakeumi"-chanko http://ohtaki-gp.net/info/2017/05/post-71.php):

A white (as shiroboshi = win) daruma (for luck) in 2 sizes and 2 types of keyholders.

Another even more special sumo book will go on sale on Dec. 26th with an event at a Ginza book store: only 150 get printed this time and for 185 000 Yen: the sumo museum collection selection of nishiki-e, 324 pages in A3 format and in a luxurious box. Again Shibatayama-oyakata will be there for the PR event (and Mitsuru Yaku). http://music-book.jp/book/news/news/169140
