Kintamayama 47,226 Posted July 10, 2005 95 out on day 1, 53 left. No less than 46 players lost on account of Kyokutenho.
Asashosakari 20,249 Posted July 10, 2005 Damn it, Jumonji is usually a much more dependable loser...I think I'm gonna hold aderechelsea responsible for talking up Kaiho too much in recent months. (Clapping wildly...)
Sakana 46 Posted July 10, 2005 "Kotomitsuki m'a tuer" (french joke (Clapping wildly...)) I hope Kotomitsuki won't do again such a bout like today ! Shame on him (Applauding...)
aderechelsea 125 Posted July 10, 2005 Damn it, Jumonji is usually a much more dependable loser...I think I'm gonna hold aderechelsea responsible for talking up Kaiho too much in recent months. (Applauding...) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> responsibility accepted ... (Clapping wildly...) i and to think that Jumonji is one of Kaiho's easiest opponents ... what can i expect from him now concerning this basho ??? i didn't pick Kaiho in Chaingang at the last moment but 'managed" to find another loser in the face of Kasugao ... (Applauding...) anyway ... just one daily game left for me (S4) for this basho since my time is limited ...
AsaMoe 0 Posted July 10, 2005 (edited) Strange as it is, Kotooshu has the second highest quote in S-Toto. But in Chain Gang only 19 player picked him. May be this time i start a winning streak (which is already one bout longer then in March and May). Edited July 10, 2005 by AsaMoe
Zenjimoto 40 Posted July 10, 2005 Yeah, I can't believe that so many people picked 10-Ho, who is anything but reliable these days. But what I can believe even less is, I made it to Day 2 for a change!! (Clapping wildly...) Cheers Zenjimoto
Fujisan 535 Posted July 10, 2005 Yeah, I can't believe that so many people picked 10-Ho, who is anything but reliable these days. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tenho lost because I picked him (Clapping wildly...) this is just getting ridiculous (Applauding...)
Kintamayama 47,226 Posted July 11, 2005 Another 23 down today, thanks to Wakanosato, Shimotori and others. This is really amazing. It shouldn't be so hard to pick one winner from 35 odd bouts, yet .
Odoriou 0 Posted July 12, 2005 But day 3 was really easy. (Nodding yes...) Only 4 players were kicked out, 26 are still in. Yesterday for me it was a difficult decision between Kotomitsuki, Hakuho, Wakanosato and Iwakiyama. Finally I chose Wakanosato, but all of my other candidates won their bouts, too. Today it looks much harder. (Pulling hair...) I bet that day 4 will break my neck. I'm still not sure who to pick. (Clapping wildly...)
AsaMoe 0 Posted July 12, 2005 But day 3 was really easy Me too; i had to choose between Hakuho and Kotoosho and this was also irrelevant. Today it is more difficult, but i am quite sure, who wins.
Jakusotsu 6,392 Posted July 12, 2005 Today it is more difficult, but i am quite sure, who wins.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Please, everybody pick Jumonji! He deserves it. (...and I won't be alone to fall (Blushing...))
Yubiquitoyama 4 Posted July 13, 2005 Today it is more difficult, but i am quite sure, who wins.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Please, everybody pick Jumonji! He deserves it. (...and I won't be alone to fall (Nodding yes...)) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You're braver than me! I would never dare bet against Takamisakari (Laughing...)
Jakusotsu 6,392 Posted July 13, 2005 (edited) It shouldn't pass unnoticed that kotooshu_bulgaria actually dared to bet on his hero Kotooshu against Tochiazuma. Brave, bold, banzai move! ;-) (edit: and BTW, after succeeding with Jumonji, I have no other option than to bet against him tomorrow (Applauding...) ) Edited July 13, 2005 by Jakusotsu
Odoriou 0 Posted July 13, 2005 (edited) I'm totally surprised that I'm still in. ;-) I really don't deserve this honour, so I will immediately commit harakiri by picking Buyuzan! Edited July 13, 2005 by Odoriou
Doitsuyama 1,259 Posted July 14, 2005 I'm totally surprised that I'm still in. :-/ I really don't deserve this honour, so I will immediately commit harakiri by picking Buyuzan! Didn't really work... :'-( Now, what's next? (Bleh!)
Odoriou 0 Posted July 14, 2005 Oh no. If you can't trust Buyuzan, who can you trust? :-/ What else do I have to do to be kicked out? I guess you only fall if you don't expect it at all. So I will go with a highly rated favourite now. ;-)
Jakusotsu 6,392 Posted July 14, 2005 How about Kyokushuzan the Killer Monkey?
Odoriou 0 Posted July 17, 2005 What a day. :-( 11 out, only 1 left. It's decided - the winner is... Godaikonoryu. (Feeling guilty...)
AsaMoe 0 Posted July 17, 2005 Most likely they all chose Hakuho ?
Kintamayama 47,226 Posted July 17, 2005 Yup, Chaingang is over on day 8. The winner is Godaikonoryu. Of the 12 players left, 8 went with Hakuhou, 2 with Kotomitsuki, 1 with Takekaze and the winner chose Harunoyama. Congratulations, and see you again next basho!
