Is Takeru officially out? It's not on the main site, and people are talking about it in the basho threads but no one there's confirmed it yet.

Are you seriously posting that like it's obvious he's dropping out? He very well may, and probably should, but we've also seen guys keep fighting with injuries that looked far worse.

And the lesson is: never underestimate a rikishi's willingness to aggravate his injury.

No need not. I was sincerely thankful when you did. It's not you to blame for Takerufuji walking Ikioi's path.

First ginosho points of the basho for three players, which is a bit surprising for me because up to Sadanoumi-Kotoshoho everything went according to plan. However, that odd bout is an indicator for the lottery to begin any day now.

Oshirokita takes sole lead. (Applauding...)

Oshirokita (K1e) 7-2
Bunbukuchagama (Ow) 6-3
Jakusotsu (S1e) 6-3
Sumo Spiffy (Oe) 6-3
Fashiriteta (S1w) 6-3
Kachikoshi (K1w) 6-3
Andonishiki (M2w) 5-3-1
Profomisakari (M1e) 4-1-4
Ryoshishokunin (M2e) 3-3-3
shimodahito (M1w) 3-1-5
The Kyokai (M4w) 2-7
Gurowake (Ye) 0-0-9
Hakuhonofan (M4e) 0-0-9
Jejima (M3e) kosho
WAKATAKE (M3w) intai

Ura's aites: 1. Chiyoshoma, 2. Atamifuji, 3. Sadanoumi, 4. Ichiyamamoto, 5. Takanosho, 6. Tobizaru, 7. Gonoyama, 8. Takerufuji, 9. Tokihayate
