I must say I am surprised that you are looking forward to my comments on that. As everyone knows, I am a very avid fan of henka.

I just don't like it when:

A: A rikishi does a henka and then denies it while giving a a lame excuse that offends my intelligence...

B: A yokozuna does it.

C: It rains suddenly and I don't have an umbrella.

Other than that (and this is well-documented..) I love a good henka, and even more, payback for a botched henka.

second line: can't really read the first word except the kanji on the right "hito/jin" (man/person),

but the second one is Wakanosato.

Today was "Henka Day"! I miss "Henku"ba. You always knew exactly what he was going to do.

Naah. It never was really truly enforced, except during a few bashos when some chief judging bucho decided to be strict for a while. Watch the sixties- seventies vids- the guys start from a running- standing position..
