Doitsuyama 1,259 Posted November 25, 2006 Day 11 to day 13 videos provided by Sekihiryu for juryoika took a hit due to various reasons: day 11 - live broadcast from the parliament, day 12 - special public holiday broadcast of a famous musical concert/festival, day 13 - technicians working on TV antennas. The day 13 incident though brought a satellite dish to Sekihiryu with access to NHK-BS. So the day 14 videos are much more numerous for a change. There are two replays from day 13 too. Enjoy - there are several interesting bouts.

Did you catch the stream for Day 11? It apparently started with a couple of Makushita bouts to go...unfortunately I started my own recording a bit too late so I missed a few early Juryo bouts (including Wakanoho-Goeido) as well... No, it was a bit too late here as well. I don't like to set the recording too early because sometimes (rarely) a test stream gets caught and recording ends... sekihiryu 51 Posted November 25, 2006 That was a marathon of recording and encoding, but it did give a very good look at all the Rikishi fighting and put some names to faces. Some figths that caught my eye were. Kyokuruyudake vs Asahisakari great bout. Murayoshi vs KoriyamaThe winner walks off the wrong side of the Dohyo! Nagai vs Kagaya Kagaya is real battler, both his knees are heavily strapped and he walks like his knees are truly crippled. A former Makuuchi stalwart he has dropped down to Sandanme. He failed to meet the height requirement but was allowed to join anyway and went 14-0 in Jonokuchi and Sandanme in 2003. Fights with a lot of heart, maybe Roho could take a leaf out of his book. Mizakura vs Matsumidori This bout appeared to take place in slow motion, it was truly bizarre like they were stuck in a time warp. Tamarikido vs Hochiyama Hochiyama false starts and blows Tamarikido right off the Dohyo! Tamarikido appears concussed but manages to compose himself during the bout proper. I wont have time to get all the Sandanme /Makushita today but I will take requests if there is a particular bout or couple of bouts from down low you would really like to see then please post on this thread. I'm afraid he may not advance very far until he is much more incomprehensible.

kotooshu_bulgaria 0 Posted November 26, 2006 Try K-Lite Codec Pack and you shouldn't have any problems. At least it works for me...

sekihiryu 51 Posted November 26, 2006 For those who can only get audio the files are encoded in DivX - a common codec but since Windows media player and realplayer are rubbish they cant play such files without first getting a codec. DO NOT as someone suggests and get a codec pack and install it, you will cause yourself troubles and possibly crash your computer. Codec packs have many codecs you dont need and will cause conflicts. If you must use WMP or realplayer get the codec here http://www.divx.com/divx/windows/codec/ once you have this you will be able to view easily. DivX compresses video file to a really small size while maintaining high quality, that is why it is used. My top advice though would be to get a useful media player 1. vlc player - a free and powerful player made by computer geeks and will play almost everything no worries at all, no extra codecs needed it comes ready for action. Its my default player on the computer for video http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ I highly recoomend this one. 2. http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Vi...r-Win2kXP.shtml for "media player classic". another free but very handy player I will try to get the videos made tonight. I am not at home right now (at the outlaws house supposedly fixing their computer (Neener, neener...) but actually I am sneaking a peek at the forum!

Kintamayama 47,223 Posted November 27, 2006 Edit: Jonidan and sandanme playoffs are also included now. URLs are wrong on both-substitute day 15 for day 16, and you will see Wakarikidou, who has decided to continue Touki's legacy.
