I guess I don't monitor the Jonokuchi ranks enough to know, but is it usual for a Jk to be that far up in Jonidan near the end of a basho if they seem as good as Osunaarashi?

Ooh, the almost, but not really, rare osakate. However, when I went to the Reference Site to see who else had won by this, I was surprised to see some pre-2001 wins. Was osakate a kimarite in the old days (1951) and in the not-so-old days (1995), before returning in 2001?
