Juryo was won by Seiro.

Aminishiki was there - in juryo. All year as a 38 year old he was in juryo, tomorrow he turns 39  - and will return to makuuchi. But that isn't a goal: "I think of it only as a transit point, above there also is more (sanyaku)." http://www.nikkansports.com/battle/sumo/news/201710020000636.html

Purple mawashi. A lot of "I feel good and I hope this will be a starting point for a change." stuff was being said.

This is a minimal tape and brace, go out and look good event.

Is this one of those with a decent prize pool that would encourage those below sanyaku to contest it more while the relative value to Ozeki and Yokozuna is less such that they don't care as much?  It seems like they're all won by some Yokozuna or Ozeki, but all the rest lose really early.  It's like they decided beforehand who was going to actually contest it, and the rest just didn't want to get (more) injured.

Charity only, I believe. If I'm not mistaken the Fuji TV tournament in February is the only prize money tournament these days.

The channel that posted the sf and final - and the other dohyo-iri that day at the Meiji shrine - also posted the dohyo-iri of the 4 yokozuna in the kokugikan (who knows how often we will see that in the future)

But there are other prizes... like a year's worth of Cup Noodles... :)
