Golynohana's Sumo Site - Updates

Recommended Posts

Not having been to the profile page on your site before, I hadn't seen this earlier, but what does adding a value for "Page size of Sekitori-Oracle entry form" do?

Also, you can update your signature to add SCS.

This value means how many record you want to see on your entry form. Normally you see all 70 record at once. The value less than 70 would break the entry form into more pages. I used to set it to 42 to have all makuuchi rikishi on page 1 and all juryo on page 2.

Could we possibly get a page with just the rikishi costs instead of having to copy them down from the dropdown box? I already did, but it seems like it should be more readily accessible information than how it is now. Whenever you can get to it, I know it's a work in progress.

This is a good idea. I'll try to prepare a separate page with just rikishi and their cost.

Rando...will this be going straight back into the SB? Or will we be waiting a bit to see how it goes and how many join up?

I definitely intend to include the game again! However, having 42 players is a necessary condition!

I will update the Superbanzuke front page to include links to SCS!

Edit: Done!!!

By the way, I successfully registered for Salarycap last night, but right now I can't get access to either registration or entry form.

The screen tells me:

"Sorry, the account you are logged with does not have the permissions required to access this page." The upper right corner tells me that I am logged in while I get this error message.

Edit:

I just realized that I could enter the pages when I clicked on "Edit Profile" (upper right corner) and added my shikona in the text field!

Welll, it should not be that big problem to get 42 entries for that game, I'm in - takes only a minute or two to assemble your team!

Come on SG fans! Let's get this game back to the Superbanzuke, where it belongs!

Salary Cap Sumo Revival - Daily Recruiting Update:

What? Just 15 players have registered yet?

Maybe a new thread is necessary to bring the number up to 42...

Yeah maybe. I had no idea about its return.

Though most should see it when they enter the other games on Golynohana's site. That's what I just did and it's great to have SalaryCap-Sumo back!

Maybe the pre-basho game I enjoy the most.

When I click "Register for Basho" or "Entry form" for the Salary Cap, the answer is "Sorry, the account you are logged with does not have the permissions required to access this page" ...

I find why !

Go to "Edit profile" in your account and create a Shikona in "Your Shikona" for the Salary Cap Sumo

And we have 28 players now!

14 more to complete the Makuuchi ranks in this game!

Not to be "that guy", but - unless the rebooted SCS goes way beyond 42 players immediately, wouldn't it be sensible to wait at least one more basho before asking to have it re-added to the Super Banzuke/Masters? I don't get the feeling that this is the kind of blockbuster "everybody was waiting for something like this" addition that TTT was, so I don't think it's guaranteed that the participation numbers of the first basho will necessarily be repeated in the second edition.

Agree with Asashosakari. It is a great game, but I suspect at least half of even the regular gamers don't even know it has been resurrected!

Another change was to disable possibility to choose both rikishi from the same bout in OddSumo.

excellent !

Let's spread the word to get 42 players for SCS this basho.

Hakuho costs 532$$ - great !

that hopefully increases chances, that players can score high, even if he yushos, but one hasnt picked him, coz it limits the remaining cash too much to form a strong team.

I went looking for the Seki-Quad tiebreaker rules, and the link on the main page leads to a dead site. I found the rules in an old forum post here, but also at the site http://www.anasuya.com/4/ which correctly links to Golynohana's site in general and has a full rules set.

There is a new page for SalaryCap: banzuke page.

http://www.sumogames.de/Golynohana/SALARYCAP/SalaryCapBanzuke.aspx

I created banzuke by simply adding scores from first two basho and place all players by this amount of points, starting with Sekiwake East.

From now on I would like Ganzohnesushi to take over the banzuke making responsibility pleasure ;-) The Administration pages are already prepared.
