Amanogawa 79 Posted March 13, 2004 Just a little filler topic. :-P From "Sumo" magazine March issue -"What is your hobby?" ( I just wrote "music", but it's"listening to music" not "writing music" or "playing music in a band". And about "movies", they mean "watching movies" or "going to movies" and not "shooting" or "being in the movies", unfortunately :-P ) East side! Asashosakari 20,223 Posted March 13, 2004 KaioUÂ playing with radio-controlled models So KaioU IS a robot!!! (Laughing...) (Alien stuff...) LMAO...I had the exact same thought when I read that. Sure would be interesting to know who's in charge of his radio control, no? :-P Thanks Amanogawa for such a neat and interesting post! :-)
aderechelsea 125 Posted March 13, 2004 nice to see a lot of fishermen among them.......(i like fishing too) and it seems i could hang out with Takekaze too (although i find it difficult to picture him on a bike...... (Alien stuff...) ) their free time must be limited though so it is normal to see a lot of "music listening" and "movie watching"..........
Mark Buckton 1 Posted March 13, 2004 Daily when in town and not away I see a great many junior rikishi parking their bikes, locking the lock, looking right then left, respecting the green cross codeand then making a 10 metre dash across the road to enter a smoke filled pachinko center. Not being considered the most refined of hobbies I'd say Miyabiyama is likely one of the most honest unless all today's senior men have truly lost an interest in something that (in all likelihood) did entertain them in their more formative of years. Yoavoshimaru 0 Posted March 14, 2004 If I were making a commercial for a rope, I would have a well-known rikishi bungee-jump! Do any rikishi like to do that?
Kaikitsune Makoto 210 Posted March 14, 2004 Tamakasuga used to like reading books. He was said to be a quiet guy who enjoyed his books. Musoyama and Tosanoumi used to engage into frequent emailing to each other. It is probable that at least once Tosanoumi sent Muso an email while Muso was fishing. Kyokushuzan mentioned snowboarding as one of his hobbies. Didn't spesify whether he likes to do airborne tricks at half pipe. Asanowaka likes to ride a bike and read comics. He is very good at reading comics. I wonder if any Japanese rikishi have foreign language as hobby? Anyone of them studies English, Spanish etc.?
