BuBa 77 Posted July 25, 2006 I just realized that there is something missing in SF. Namely Kintamayamas after basho YDC thread. Since, as I understood vaguely, he is taking some time off, would somebody else please fill in.
BuBa 77 Posted July 26, 2006 Didn't Ms. Uchidate say anything about her favorite Yokozuna? ;-)
Ryukaze 0 Posted July 28, 2006 Kintamayama-sama hails from the realm of Israel or therabouts does he not? If so I most certainly hope his time off is not in any way directly related to the terrible events that are currently taking place over there right now. Kinta hope your safe and all is well with you bro!

I hope he returns as his contributions are missed. But I can understand that he takes time off with the ever sinking niveau on this forum with all our new "I don't care about other rikishi or history of sumo" and "he is from the same area as me so he is of course superior to everybody else" members... aderechelsea 125 Posted July 28, 2006 the good thing is that those members tend to disappear quite fast so there is no point in taking them so seriously. anyway i hope that Kinta will return after all in time for Aki basho ...

With this talk about disappearing members, has anyone heard from Nishinoshima or Shiroykuma lately?
Mark Buckton 1 Posted July 28, 2006 (edited) Shiroikuma wiped his posts a long time ago - history now although he still lurks (last here yesterday) and is still active in the amateur sumo world. Edited July 28, 2006 by Adachinoryu

Remember its holiday time, things always get quieter this time of year. I cannot remember seeing posts by him during last basho and the time before that. Probably my own fault for not following each and every thread these days. His activity has probably just decreased from 'n posts per thread' to 'n threads per post' (Same as mine actually)

He has been regularly posting to the Sumo Mailing List over the past couple of weeks. He's simply taking a vacation from the forum for a while.

Good points to a good post. Beeing self a rookie here I too have noticed some stupid posts and way too long threads sometime arguing about non-sense things. Have been reading forum for 2-3 years and following sumo since mid- nineties. Though to my bad english I did not decide to join untill now :-) have a nice day eciq
