Group A – Refioji Nekonishiki - Round 3 / Day 3

Sweden vs Germany  4-1
Poland vs Denmark  3-2

Kaba (Finland) vs Ganzohnesushi (Switzerland)

Kaba gets a potential goal, but there are still the first two slots.
Ganzohnesushi’s chain is broken in #3.

Jakusotsu (Norway) vs Asapedroryu (Iceland)

Jakusotsu’s third potential goal, which can even turn to five tomorrow.
But France must win for this. With a draw, only 4 goals, if France loses, then only 3. Anyway, Jakusotsu just sits back and asks for a coffee. The rounds are finished without a loss.

GG Kimyama.  Group C has betrayed me.

So, I will be (presuming Wales does not pull off a miracle later tonight) one of two players (along with @Jakusotsu) to keep both of my special teams for the quarterfinals? Yet, I am scrabbling for my first goal of the tournament, AND trying to squeak my first point from a draw?  I guess that this is down to management of the team....

There will be a bit of admin after the matches this evening - picking semi-final penalty takers, refiojis for the quarterfinals etc.  I plan to do it after work tomorrow - so around 5pm UK time. (6pm Swiss).

Quarterfinals commence on Wednesday - so that will still give over 48 hours. Hope that's okay with everyone. :-)

Round 3:
Ryoshishokunin 0:2 Kimyama
Fujiko 1:0 Krisachiyama

Kimyama and Fujiko will advance to the cup quarterfinals, Ryoshishokunin and Krisachiyama will be playing for something else.

Has it ever happened before that our virtual games in one group end exactly the same way as their real life counterparts? (disregarding number of goals)

I make it Asapedroryu in 3rd place. You need to ignore the 3 matches with Jakusotsu and then arrange the other three players in order of their 'mini league' of three.

So Kaba ends +2, Asapedroryu 0 and Ganzohnesushi -2

Ooo my, you are right.

But you also win the match, because Finngall's lineup gets broken at spot #1.

I am so sorry, my friend. I'll fix the Table right now.
