I truly don't know where to put this. It's not a TV show, it's not a Haru 2018 PR per-se, it's not preparations of the masses, it's not rikishi encouragement events. So I'll just leave it here.

Ikioi, Gagamaru and Hidenoumi  were on a talk show today in an underground shopping center. Many female fans came to see the handsomest of them all, Ikioi. Questions were allowed. When asked if he had a girlfriend, Ikioi answered: "No, but I do have a boyfriend.." to which the crowd reacted with much laughter. (Try saying that today in the West- you'll have various offended organizations at your throat..). He then unashamedly plugged his parents' sushi restaurant in Osaka. He was then challenged to prove that rikishis' body are soft, so he proceeded, in his kimono, to do matawari, sitting, doing a split and bringing his head to the ground (see photo). "My body is soft so I don't suffer from injuries," he explained. "Yeah, right, Ikioi-zeki - you've got tons of injuries," remarked the amused Hidenoumi, laughing with everyone.
