simple registration: you have to select a location in Japan, preferably 東京, give an email address, enter the code they send you, select a password and a username and create a profile for that username.

The videos are encrypted (HLS, not DRM), you can record them as browser source recording with OBS Studio

This week has plenty of sumo in the regular NHK programs, some viewable worldwide with NHK kokusai housou (today on OhayoNipppon 7h), others as VODs for a week on NHK One:
