Shakuyaku 0 Posted January 11, 2007 (Please!?...) Something is wrong with youtube- I get an error message again and again. They've been updating the page all day, and warned that people might have some difficulties loading up and watching movies.
Asashosakari 20,247 Posted January 11, 2007 Hey, a MobiCom kensho banner. Wonder if it's a coincidence that this one is paraded in an all-Mongolian bout or if they've decided to limit their sponsorship to those bouts...

ilovesumo 12 Posted January 11, 2007 Yes. They say Mongolu ketai denwa "Mongolian mobile phone" . I was wondering about that-do they use it in Japan or is this advertising for the mongolian fans watching sumo on tv?

It has been there on all the Yokozuna's bouts since day 1. I suppose we should exclude the Yokozuna's bouts here...there's much less chance of the MobiCom kensho money going to a non-Mongolian opponent when he's facing Asashoryu than when he's facing, say, Kyokutenho. ilovesumo 12 Posted January 11, 2007 Musoyama looked like such an old ozeki, and now such a young oyakata ... nice to go through a rebirth cycle (I am not worthy...) Amazing that you say that. To me he lookes quiet tired and sick, he also gained some kilos- he was much better looking in Aki Basho. On monday he was sitting down, doing his job but his face was showing pain. Breathing wasn't good. I am wondering what is wrong with him but I don't want to create innuendos here.
kaiguma 0 Posted January 11, 2007 I also love to see the old ojii-chan in the green jacket, keeping his own records for spreadsheets more elaborate than Asashosakari's and Doitsuyama's combined. (I am not worthy...)
