New kesho for Asashouryuu

Asashouryuu got a new kesho-mawashi he intends to use for Aki - his 5th to date. It was given to him by a company based in Kyoto and sports the logo of said company.

京都の名産品あぶらとり紙の製造・販売店「よーじや」- I have no idea who these guys are and why Asa would be a walking advertisement for them, so maybe someone can help here..

Shop on main street through Kyoto that one (branches in Tokyo now)- near(ish) Minami-za and specializing in face creams / oil removing paper (facial oil) etc etc. Near the place my avatar comes from and around corner from Gion area.

Perhaps Asa is after a face like a geisha?

somehow i doubt that asa is the perfect model for beauty products.... I cant imagine a women that would want to look like him ... but maybe hes a better choice than iwakiyama...

Since he wants to "use" it, does that imply a set of three, covering his attendants as well? I might be wrong, but the only time a yokozuna "uses" his kesho-mawashi at hon-basho seems to be during the dohyo-iri.

Well, it is indeed a cosmetics company: Yojiya. By the design of the English site at least, apparently our Japanese friends have 5000x768 monitors.

Maybe Asa uses their oil-blotting face paper--apparently made during the process of beating gold leaf? Perhaps the sakura or aloe scent? Nahh...he's a yuzu man.

The wife swears by this particular brand of facial oil sucking paper. She buys a ton of it evertime she goes to Japan.
