Kotoroiwa 70 Posted February 8 (edited) Is this his best album? Guy's been around since mid-80's as he's older than me. Hmm… affirmative as they say. Edited February 8 by Kotoroiwa Right link now.

I need to start a band of my own. Solicitours de Squalor Senile! Something unlike this one (as much as I'm fond of them for reasons unknown).
Athenayama 1,195 Posted April 5 (edited) "Unplugged"? With electric bass and electric guitar? We must have a different definition of this word. Song is nice of course. Edited April 5 by Athenayama

Nirvana nerd here; Kurt refused to play without his guitar going through his effects pedals and Fender amp. He was simply too used to hearing his guitar through his Fender amps. I personally don't know how anyone can hear his performance of "Where Did You Sleep Last Night" from that show have anything negative to say about the show, but I have been a bit of a fanboy. No critic about the performance whatsoever, I wrote I liked the song (and the whole show actually). Just using the word "unplugged" surprised me that's all. There was, apparently, a real fight to get him to completely unplug and maintain the integrity of the show's name, but he wouldn't budge and...he was The Rock Star of the moment. Have a pleasant day, eh.
Athenayama 1,195 Posted April 6 Oh and my bad, I just realized it is a mix of two different videos ! Kind of a remix.

I was only commenting on the Nirvana side. If you listen to the original Unplugged in New York though you can really hear the electric guitar come in at times while still hearing some of it acoustically. Especially The Man Who Sold the World. Jakusotsu 6,392 Posted April 10 (edited) I just remembered these all too prevailing lyrics from 36 years ago: "the beaten generation, reared on a diet of prejudice and misinformation" Edited April 10 by Jakusotsu
Yamanashi 4,078 Posted April 13 All right. Let's do a video from the world outside of Suomi: A Czech metal band doing a cover of Rockwell.
Kotoroiwa 70 Posted May 2 45K views in fourteen years, few thousand by me. What's wrong with… I dunno…

I hadn't heard of the band: obscure NYC hardcore band from 1980-1984. This didn't sound hardcore, maybe that was the problem.

Kotoroiwa 70 Posted May 3 Now that I started. Why not another from my not-my-genre-at-all collection. This used to have a hilarious fan-made video.

Sorry, this guy doesn't come up for me in relation to this song, and the only Heart Attack song that registers is by Demi Lovato. Congrats, you've picked the Obscure Song of the Week. Maybe that's why it's only getting 45K.
Kotoroiwa 70 Posted May 4 I'm not sure what you mean by coming up and registering, but the song's name is not Heart Attack. It's Heartattack. It's obscure, because (speaking about no one in particular) majority of mankind is spoonfed "music". Witness the annual abomination called Eurovision Song Contest that should burn in hell. The more I personally sink into meaninglessness, the more I find myself to be an insufferable elitist. It's kind of amusing though, in a morbid sense. Just like I like it. When I put "heartattack song" into Google, it asks me if I want "Heart Attack", then gives me seven pages of Demi Lovato. I'm really trying here! Oh, and when I clicked your link for Heartattack, I get a discog for Lovett's "Highway Collection". I guess he's the same Ben Lovett from the other link, and there's Heartattack listed as one of the songs! And he's a member of Mumford & Sons! Cool. I still like the song. Kotoroiwa 70 Posted May 4 (edited) I listened to that Demi Lovato song, the first I've ever heard from her (and last ). I do remember hearing the name some years ago, though. If I asked my niece (14 year old) about her generation's favourite artists, I'd probably recognize not a single name. I like the song, too. It should have 45M views. I forgot to add there's no reason whatsoever to apologize. Edited May 4 by Kotoroiwa I forgot.

I have a general rule for songs released after 2010. If the artist's name has the term "ft." (featuring), it sucks. Like, say, "Def Bobo ft. Lil Spaz" (made up names, though who knows?)
