I haven't fully thought it through, but given how the torikumi works, I think it can only happen with one guy in the upper half of the division and one in the lower, not with two in the top 15 extended promotion zone. I haven't fully thought it through, but given how the torikumi works, I think it can only happen with one guy in the upper half of the division and one in the lower, not with two in the top 15 extended promotion zone. 7-0 playoffs shouldn't happen unless there are more than 128 men in the division or if the "natural" matchups are impossible because the wrestlers are from the same stable. There are a few possibilities in makushita this time.Just looking at ms6-ms15 we have: Satorofuji v Enho (Isegahama), Chiyomaru v Chiyotora (Kokonoe) and Asahakuryu vs Asanoyama (Takasago).
