wolfgangho 39 Posted March 19, 2019 wakatakae nearly grabbed the day win but nr.1 pick didn`t count so it was chishafuwaku again to pick the day win I now make a poll as the problem of the promoted demoted rikishi is coming up every 2nd day or so you have 2 choices a) keep the current rule promoted/demoted rikishi count as a loss b) you may pick the promoted/demoted rikishi but not the opponent please answer until the final day if there is majorityfor the rule change it will start next basho results chishafuwaku 10 wakatakae 9 achiyama 7 pitinosato 3 fujisan 3 tameiki 2 haidouzo 2 wolfgangho 2 will chishafuwaku get the 3rd straight basho in a row or can pitionsato stay at nr.1 or will something wild happen? Haidouzo 78 Posted March 19, 2019 For the love of Zeus, I vote B. Or, allow "substitute" picks beyond the initial nine, and skip over any invalid pick. (Most helpful for withdrawals.) Pitinosato 120 Posted March 19, 2019 Do we have a problem with promoted/demoted Rikishi ??? I think the rule is clear, we can't take the winner of a Bout where Makushita or Makuuchi Rikishi are involved. Where we do have a problem is when a Rikishi goes Kyujo. Me for example didn't know that such win doesn't count, so I took Wakatakakage on Position 1. I agree with Haidouzo. We should allow a substitute Pick. The question is if this one subsitutes the Kyujo-Bout-Pick directly, or if he gets Position 9, and every other below the Kyujo-Pick ride up 1 Position. Pitinosato I'd vote substitute in 9 and slide all others up. (Or, in other words, bypass ineligible picks and just go to the next on the list.)
