Achiyama 1,272 Posted January 23, 2017 Thanks to everybody, who registered and participated in TUG during 2017 Hatsu. It was quite interesting till the very end, wasn't it? Just to mention at the beginning when I launched TUG 2 (two) years ago, some Gamers were critical about the Golden Bonus points. In the course of 12 basho (the latest one was #13), especially after we adopted private way of submitting the picks, Golden Bonus points turned to be very valuable. A proof for the value of the Golden Bonus points is the last basho. Benihana played very strategically his Senshuraku picks, but at the same time very risky. If somebody else had chosen Kisenosato on Senshuraku, Sakura would have defeated Benihana by 1 point. It was so close. In a couple of days I'll announce and post the Sansho. Best Regards, Achiyama
Achiyama 1,272 Posted January 23, 2017 (edited) And now comes the Kekka format, which will be used for 2017 Haru Banzuke. Pandaazuma will be Ozeki, as he wasn't able to win the Yusho or Jun-Yusho. All Gamers on an Ozeki watch won't be promoted for the same reason and only Shokikogi was the only one who managed to achieve the required Kekka points. Here are the Kekka points (calculated by using the simple equation "Points*7.5 / Mean". This time the equation worked pretty well getting the KK/MK line in the middle of the list) Note: Bonus points - 15 for Yusho Winner, and 10 points for Jun Yusho are added ONLY for Kekka and Banzuke purposes. Achiyama 1,272 Posted January 23, 2017 (edited) ANNOUNCEMENT: DEAR SUPPORTERS OF TUG, I PLEAD FOR YOUR HELP! I'D LIKE TO ESTABLISH A COMMITTEE OF 3 (THREE) TUG SUPPORTERS WHO: TO WORK TOGETHER AND PREPARE THE TUG BANZUKE AFTER EACH BASHO. (OF COURSE IT WOULD BE GOOD TO HAVE 1 OR 2 EXTRA BANZUKE MAKERS TO STEP UP AND REPLACE A BANZUKE MAKER, IF NEEDED) LET ME KNOW IF THERE ARE VOLUNTEERS (YOU CAN SEND ME A PM ON THIS TOPIC AS WELL) I'LL BE VERY GRATEFUL TO EVERYBODY, WHO IS WILLNG TO HELP ME WITH THIS IMPORTANT PART OF THE GAME. BEST REGARDS: RIJICHO ACHIYAMA Edited January 23, 2017 by Achiyama

Thanks Senkoho, I appreciate your willingness to help. I can try too for your Banzuke. But I want you to know that I don't play GTB and I need to learn some rules about Banzuke making in the real world.
