A welcome speech from Kyokai PR chief Hakkaku-oyakata (former Yokozuna Hokutoumi). Ikioi singing a special Christmas jinku. Akawashi and Hiyonoyama. No fake beard was needed for this Santa! Former Sekiwake Takamiyama arrives with a sack full of treats for the children. On the left here is Musashikuni, nephew of Musashigawa-oyakata. Ikioi and Okinoumi were also handing out the goody bags to the children. Current students of the sumo school were also employed to hand out the goody bags. Commemorative photos. Hakuho, Aoiyama, Kyokutenho, Goeido and Shohozan lost in the first round, Ōsunaarashi and Endo in the 2nd. That pic above in many variations looks like it was planned that way.
