Kintamayama 47,178 Posted April 16, 2008 (edited) For the first time, we have a foreign rikishi starting a blog. It's Kotooushuu. In the mean time there's just a homepage, but he intends to start writing after Natsu basho. The reason for starting this blog-his wish to strengthen his ties with his fans. "It will be difficult doing it during a basho, so I hope to start after the basho, and in Japanese. Using some software, I may even manage to write some kanji. I will eagerly anticipate the fans' reactions..", he said. His thoughts on sumo and some private pictures will be included in his blog. Today, the second time kadoban rikishi had some fierce keiko with Kotomitsuki and is looking very healthy. "All right now!", was his first message. URL? Not in the article.. Kintamayama 47,178 Posted April 17, 2008 What do you want most right now? A door, anywhere.. Without seeing the original I wonder if this is meant to be one of the items Doraemon uses? (どこでもドア) Without presuming, I'm pretty sure it is..
That-Satsu-Guy 1 Posted April 17, 2008 Thanks, Kintamayama! I knew he liked net surfing, so I wondered why he didn't have a blog. Then again, I don't have a blog. For those who don't know Doraemon, his "dokodemodoa" is a door that opens to where ever you want it to. Oshu would likely use it to take trips to Canada to see his brother and Bulgaria to see his mom without asking the kyokai for permission. Maybe, he could use it to go to Emerald City and ask the wizard for some courage too. Zing! Thanks again!!

Gusoyama 104 Posted April 17, 2008 Favorite drink-water (yeah, right - he was drinking a lot of "water" when he was here..) What would you consider his favorite drink to be? Beer? Did he down a lot of Goldstars while he was visiting?
Kintamayama 47,178 Posted April 17, 2008 Favorite drink-water (yeah, right - he was drinking a lot of "water" when he was here..) What would you consider his favorite drink to be? Beer? Did he down a lot of Goldstars while he was visiting? Oh, very good, sir. Knowledge of local beers... He favored the water-colored but not water type, although it was in the boundaries of good taste. I have a video of him easily downing a bottle in two gulps, and not being bothered.
Harry 67 Posted April 17, 2008 Most beers are 95% water or so... close enough really :-)

Ok, I HAD to download (GIF (256 colors) image with a granular aspect); expand to 2x; then pass a gaussian blur filter (3,0) and shrink again to 1920x1280 size. Hope you like the result. Asojima 2,874 Posted May 26, 2008 Can also be done more or less directly this way and that way. Comes out unfiltered and a bit yucky, but it does handle GIF files.

Kuroyama 715 Posted May 27, 2008 I couldn't even see the pictures that good...something is wrong with my equipment (Laughing...) No, there was something wrong with the pictures that Asysanyama had to fix as he explained. They were unaccountably GIFs, a format not designed for photographs and virtually guaranteed to make them look bad.
