Randomitsuki 2,912 Posted March 16, 2012 (edited) Standings after day 6: Itachi takes the virtual lead in this wave, as he and Vikanohara had the chance, opportunity, and chutzpah to pick Sasanoyama (although I regard him as one of the biggest talents in ozumo, I wouldn't have expected him to start 3-0 in his Makushita debut). Azumashida (along with a couple of Chiyoarashi bandwagonists) remains in third place for now. Coolest pick so far: Fay again! Tokunoumi is an excellent choice! Rank Shikona Surfs Position Standing 1. Randomitsuki 2,912 Posted March 20, 2012 Standings after day 10: Itachi and Vikanohara are the only KK player among the top 10, so they'll build quite a leading margin over the rest of the field. Randomitsuki 2,912 Posted March 25, 2012 Final Standings Haru and Rank Estimates Natsu: Last basho I was absolutely sure that Aokishin (8th Wave) and Kihonoumi (7th Wave) were excellent picks, and so I picked them both. Aokishin lost against Goshi, whereas Kihonoumi lost against almost everybody. It seems as I've been one basho too early, as Aokishin won the Jonidan yusho and Kihonoumi won the Sandanme yusho. The latter news item was good news for Fujisan who easily takes the lead in 7th Wave by being the only player to pick Kihonoumi. Vikanohara, Itachi, and Asashosakari all finished 5-2 in Makushita and join Fujisan in the upper half of that division. Best pick candidates: Fujisan/Kihonoumi, kuroimori/Wakarikido, and Fay/Tokunoumi. Rank Shikona Surfs Position Standing Rank Estimate 1. Fujisan Wakayama/Kihonoumi Sd32w/Sd34w 2-5/7-0 Ms20w 2. Vikanohara 171 Posted March 27, 2012 Itachi made me lose a joker here. I saw him picking an unallowed rikishi, so I thought I might give it a shot to also pick two names. In the end I end up with the same score, but a joker less. :-(
