Fay 1,677 Posted August 12, 2008 The tour went to Hanamaki in Iwata prefecture. A city which is famous for being the birthplace of Keiji Miyazawa tells us Shoki. Miyazawa is a poet and writer of children's stories, he is also known as a social activist. Shoki in the forest close to the gym: openhearted ... and now he turns around ... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . well not really Because Shoki's stomach ist still empty, although breathing the good forest air, he decides to have lunch. A lot of heya line up at the entrance of the hall.
Fay 1,677 Posted August 25, 2008 A festival was held in Ibaraki. Although it was raining a lot of people came to watch. The festival included a flea market and of course sumo wrestling performances and wrestling with the kids. Warm up lectures were shown, matawari and future yokozuna came to wrestle and show their strength.

Fay 1,677 Posted September 16, 2008 (edited) Kotoshogiku had to fight against Yokozuna Hakuho today ... and lost. But he keeps his confidence and gets a lot of support. Tomorrow he will win against Tochinonada. And a special surprise for Shoki ... a german paper for kids got some of my pics and made an article about sumo. Of course I gave them some Shoki pics and one of Kakuryu which is on another site. B-) Edited September 16, 2008 by Fay

Fay 1,677 Posted October 28, 2008 No time for the Shoki blog for a long time, but here we go again. Kotoshogiku new ranking is Maegashira 3 east (nothing to be very proud of ...) Finally they are in Kyushu now. Because it's the last basho of the year, Shoki wants to concentrate and do his very best. In his home province Yanagawa he had an encouragement party. And Shoki shows us some local cooking of the Yanagawa province: eel with bamboo shoots
UncleMoustache 41 Posted October 31, 2017 Sorry for digging up a 9-year-old thread! Is Kotoshogiku still doing a blog or have some kind of online presence? The original blog is no longer active (and I don't read/speak japanese).
rhyen 1,858 Posted November 18, 2017 Nope. the only active bloggers are Aminishiki, Hakuho, Toyonoshima (more like instagrams crossposting onto his blog). you should have more luck following the twitter feed for Shohozan, Ryuden, Tsurusgisho, chiyo-brothers, Terutsuyoshi, onosho, takakeisho, etc.
