The gate I entered the Hall was a different one, and you know what.........eeeeeeeeek.......stumbled, cause I stood in front of Tochiazuma :-O Jikes........it was like to see a gost...him, there, at that time....couldn't say nothing, not even Ozzz, so I bowed, and ran away to get my seat in the first row of boxes (cause it hurts too much being on the cushions, not able too for 10 hours a day).......oh my oh my......there, I turned around and saw him looking at me, smiling...how dump must he think I am (Blushing...) Ako Hokutoriki When shoryu lost...that must have been an earthquake like shake in the Kokugikan. People jumped around...crazy.......and the great feeling that Hakuho will make it......I was never more sure about that then in the moment after Shoryu's loss... Videos Today's highlight will follow....video of former Daihageyama.........he is a giant :-D (Sigh...) :-P He is playing Takamisakari.....but even more ............"SHUUUUB! SHHHHHHHHHHH" (Scratching chin...) (and this, the most important video is tooo big...have to change the format first...) After that Ichinoya (Lifting weights...) Takanoyama had a Torinaoshi today.......that throw was beautiful Tochinoshin... forget about the Yusho... ilovesumo 12 Posted May 23, 2007 Day 11 And the time is running faster and faster... Today Kaiho won (by Hatakikomi, but in this case I keep a (Censored...) (Sigh...) ) and made his Kachi Koshi. I am so happy........2 more and he will be promoted to Makuuchi........oh my....... (Blushing...) :-P (Applauding...) I am also very happy that Hoshihikari still can make it...3-3 one more straight win onegai shimasu...then (Applauding...) ilovesumo 12 Posted May 24, 2007 (edited) Day 12 The Yokozuna lost to Taikai (In a state of confusion...) Hakuho is about to become Yokozuna...wow...and I am here...3 more days. I am thankful for this and hope everything goes smooth. 2 Mongolian Yokozuna on top...that is cool. I guess the new born baby is the greatest good luck charm a man can have. :-) (Heart...) there was a lot of kensho I was chatting with a japanese guy all Makuuchi long and he said, that he likes Hauho best- that made me curious, cause as we all know, Hakuho is a mongolian. -His answer why was simple and understandable- "He is strongest and a nice guy too". 10.000 yen for the thoughts of Nakamura Oyakata here.... And here I switched the camera mode from foto to video. That's how the Kokugikan looks during Jonokuchi/Jonidan. Just a few fans- mostly parents of the young Rikishi and the cute grandfathers from Osaka. They go to see every Basho, staying here in a capsual hotel and have a good time. Those guys are the most happy japanese I know- just doing exactly what they want to do- just watching Sumo. :-) Amuru and in the background, Kasugano Oyakata. He can make faces...sometimes I just have to smile over his mimic. :-) That must come from the niramiai training? They still try hard not to smile or show any emotions sitting there, seeing their own deshi win or loose. Today I had to giggle a lot ;-) Video of Amuru (watch Kasugano!) My highlight of the day was an other one- I was afraid of this mach up, but it had to happen. Kaiho versus Baruto. He was fighting like a lion, but injured himself, and looking half as big as Baruto, he tried to go straight and straight he was pushed out. Thanks to fay, who was taking the video for me (not able to cause my whole heart, soul and body was shaking (Clapping wildly...) ) I have a video too. I like Baruto, am happy about his good result, but the knee is destroyed and all those expectations can't be good for him. Remember the long rest Yokozuna Takanohana took, wasn't it 6 Basho? He tried again but finally, he gave up- if you wanna say so, cause he couldn't go on. But he was a Yokozuna and- he had the age. Bart is young.... Futeno and out... Wakanosato In the very end of each Basho day the same picture- the Non-Shinpan-Oyakata goofing around. I love to see them...Higonoumi, Takanotsuru etcetc........I miss them a lot... especially him... 2 days ago I ran into him, today it was the other way around. Little Hoshikaze made his KK today- HAPPY - he made a winner pose after the bout and that came fully out of his heart. A very nice guy. Buyuzan and Tochinoyama MK today- very very sad... Masutouou and Masuhikari also lost today. Kaiho- great win! I looked at him and wished one more, to see this great Rikishi finally back were he belongs- Makuuchi. And finally he did it........Hoshihikari got his 4. win today and I am sure he will be Shinsekitori in Nagoya. So happy........Or is there any chance he won't get the promotion?! Hakuho looked like out of emotions...who knows how he must feel these days... After Hakuho's win.......he looked quiet and into his very own world. Tears ran down from my eyes. I don't think that I noticed what happened in the bout after, I just looked at Hakuho sitting there, then handing water to Asashoryu...That was a moment...goosebumps. He got it... It is strange to sit there in front of the Dohyo and look at your favorite Rikishi- and this guy knows that you are fighting with him each and every bout... And the people around know that too...even the Shinpan who has no clue that you would have fought with him like that as well...a quick look and everything is said-"please win"-"please root for me, I will"-...what a great feeling Sumo gives to you...
