I, sometimes known as Yokotanoharry, hereby declare myself intai from all Sumo games, or anything to to do with this "sport". I started my interest in the old days of Taiho v. Kashiwado. Admit to have flagging interest, but the goings on now, have clinched my decision.

Does he to have it to go up? Good body and attitude it seems. Slow tachiai previously but not showing it this time. Beaten by Kisenosato yesterday, but held is own. ;-)

Sept. '73 if memory serves me correctly. Thanks. No wonder. We left Japan Jan 73, and I was kyujo for several years.

I have had him on almost all of my BS teams. Maybe good excuse for my own elevator career.

I'd never seen a copy of Sumo World mag, only knew him then from his JT columns. Wonder when it was first published.

Haven't seen anything here so reporting just read on the digest news of Andy Adams' passing on Dec 13, in San Diego. He helped introduce me, to Sumo in the late 60's. His daily column in Japan Times including torikumis was then most popular english commentaries. Heard him, I think just last year on one of the english broadcasts. Very dull, news revealed he suffered from alzheimers. Was founder of SumoWorld mag.

Oh I hope not. Enough scandals to go around, for all. Osh showing some mettle in this basho. If they get to him, I quit. Lucky enough here to see Hakuho break Taiho's streak fair and square. Taiho was robbed, and I saw it live.

Kakizoe's bad, but not the worst call. Hokutoriki's right foot was flat out, and almost dragged left one before he got Futeno back across the ring. Shimpai must have been dozing, as was Ross misscalling Kokkai winner several times before correcting himself.

(Clapping wildly...) (Clapping wildly...) (Clapping wildly...) (Clapping wildly...) Maybe the sleeping giant has awakened...........again. What a time! Our new Ozeki Kintamayama yusho'd, (Yusho winner...) is taking the leadership reins and sweeping out some chaff. SFI has added 2 new rikhish, Harinezumi and Kitakachiyama. Welcome ye new hirsute ones. Have some other news here in Po' Boy's Pool Hall and Trailer Park. A new enterprise. Bubba's Bait Shop and Zushi Bar is having grand opening in the former Lehman Bros building. Gift certificates from Bubba's are on the way to our 2 new SFI mates, and available to any new SFI inductees. There's no expiration date, but if you should join before the May basho, double value. (Sigh...)

(Zabuton flying...) Strange. Gomen asai, but I think I saw Kasuganishiki guarding the hanamichi yesterday.

sumogames server's games...Do you hold it this basho?
Yokotanoharry replied to Bill's topic in Sumo Games
"for me all the games on the sumogames server should be abandoned for this basho.... it is annoying for all participating and even more for the gyoji..... just look at benchsumo" I fully agree with Gernobono. Got my entry in BS, but need to make changes. Don't dare request manual change, as the guys are already loaded up, and they are all volunteers. Fairness to all to just skip Aki. -
Just checked some of my pre game scores. Deep in lower Roto and Hoshitori, found had exact point ties with Gorgoro.

Noticed yesterday, Tochiozan listed at 150kg appeared much smaller than Kokkai at 148kg. Will see tomorrow v. Hokutoriki at 153. Tochi appears much smaller than Goeido at 144, ashuta has Kokk at 148. We'll see, or is Tochi just all muscle? I assume they all weigh in or do the heya's report weights? :-)

I'm not getting ANY SC scores. Can't imagine I'm only one. Did I miss a post someplace?
