Dejimasama 0 Posted May 23, 2003 I am sure some of you have notice the set of dot like scars on KaioU's lower back. Does anyone know what they are and or where they come from.
Kintamayama 47,171 Posted May 23, 2003 He's allergic to Asashouryuu.
Zenjimoto 40 Posted May 23, 2003 It proves that Kaio is a ROBOT. What appears to be dots is actually a ZIPPER. It is there so he can be easily plugged into the control panel between bouts. :-( Cheers Zenjimoto

(Blinking...) (You have been waiting for an opportunity to use that smiley, haven't you...) (Ranting...) Did you also know that when Kaio seemingly does push-ups against the dohyo before each bout, he is actually recharging his BATTERIES.
QttP 0 Posted May 24, 2003 That also explains his otherwise unexplainable losses. You see, Kaio's program was written in the early nineties, using the bug-prone Turbo Pascal 7. So his program is buggy and affected by random noise. There have been numerous suggestions in the past to rewrite Kaio's program (possibly using Java, to make it cross-platform), but closer inspection showed that the 30-year old hardware cannot support the new software libraries. Kashunowaka 300 Posted May 24, 2003 Tochiazuma is written in Java. Very popular at first, although the performance isn't very good. But at the moment there doesn't seem to be any better replacement, so we have to live with it. (Blinking...)
Fujisan 533 Posted May 24, 2003 (edited) Allergic to Asashoryu? On recent performances I would say its the other way round. Edited May 24, 2003 by Fujisan
QttP 0 Posted May 24, 2003 Allergic to Asashoryu? On recent performances I would say its the other way round. No, it's just that at this point Kaio is simply better.

That indeed explains a lot!! :-( I am just glad that he made it past Y2K, considering all that!! (Kicked by own computer...) Cheers Zenjimoto

Fujisan 533 Posted May 29, 2003 You may be right Qttp but Kaio is at his peak and Asa is still learning, one day he will far surpass Kaio in skill in my opinion.
QttP 0 Posted May 30, 2003 You may be right Qttp but Kaio is at his peak and Asa is still learning, one day he will far surpass Kaio in skill in my opinion. Uh, sure. Something tells me that when Kaio is 36 and Asashoryu is 29, Shoryu will be beating him more regularly... (Baby sucking a pacifier...) (Chased by the fans...) (Releasing bad air...) Zenjimoto 40 Posted May 30, 2003 Funny thing about this thread, as much as I have enjoyed it, is that the original question remains unanswered, something that rarely happens here! :-( Cheers Zenjimoto
