Zenjimoto 40 Posted January 2, 2003 If you're gonna have deserved Yokozuna promotions, might wanna include Kaio too :) A few more: health for some of the perennially struggling injured rikishi, particularly Hayateumi. Also healed knee for Takamisakari, healed whatever-it-is that is bothering Tochisakae, and for who ever else is struggling with career-threatening chronic ailments. more wishes: - Sanyaku return for Tochinonada - Ozeki promotion for Takanowaka - full year of competition from Akinoshima in upper Maegashira, breaking a bunch of the participation records - Juryo Yusho for Buyuzan and return to Makuuchi - Makuuchi debut for Takekaze - Makuuchi return for Kitazakura and return of his salt throw - Juryo promotion for Kokkai and Roho - for Daizen to stick around for the year - a couple sansho for Asasekiryu and rise to upper Maegashira - Juryo return for Wakatsutomu - GED for Ryan and good beginnings to his post-sumo life And a couple for myself: - a cyber-yusho in *any* of the games :) - Manekineko to play in the LL Masters :) - Sekitori-Toto and Sekitori-Oracle to reach 200 participants :) Cheers! Manekineko 200 Posted January 3, 2003 For the forum (and me): that Manekineko will grace us with much more of these wonderful pictures (pleeeeaaaase)!!! - Manekineko to play in the LL Masters No wonder I had hiccups all day yesterday... :D (In Croatian we say that someone is talking about you when you hiccup). I can promise more pictures, but not the LL masters. (Devilish thought) Wishes for 2003? Real sumo: Less injuries all around. More promising new sekitori/makuuchi rikishi. Consequent rise of popularity. Asashoryu yokozuna! Mickey Ozeki! W'sato back as perennial sekiwake, joined by his do-beya T'waka. Good health to veterans regardless of their ranks. Hamanoshima back to sekitoridom for a final bow. A performance worthy of yokozuna for Takanohana, whether a (jun)yusho or dignified intai. Another yusho or two for Maru. New knees for Hayateumi, yes. Another year in makuuchi for Akinoshima, yes. Uf, it's tough when you like four fifths of the banzuke, so I'll stop here, just wishing highest ranks, best of health, good form, appropriate weight and well-meaning oyakata to whole banzuke, down to my semi-adoptee Kotokaneko who languishes in jonokuchi. Forum: More active members! Return of Hoshifransu. Heatlh and good nerves to everybody, especially Rijicho. And: -Thesis completion for forum members to whom it is relevant I've completed mine, so I wholeheartedly wish it to all those still laboring... Not much work to do, I might as well post some more pictures... :D
Tony 16 Posted January 3, 2003 Excuse me, who is Mickey? Kotomitsuki?
Kotoseiya Yuichi 3 Posted January 3, 2003 Excuse me, who is Mickey? Kotomitsuki? Yes. Mickey in Mickey Mouse is written Mitsuki although the katakana tsu is written in small size whereas it's written in regular size if the personal part of Kotomitsuki's shikona is converted into katakana from the regular kanji. Good nerves to me especially, hmm... (Huh?)
Manekineko 200 Posted January 3, 2003 Good nerves to me especially, hmm... (Huh?) Well, implementing new script in this Forum and coping with a growing number of members (we wished that on you) requires steady nerves... What did you think I thought? (Looks around...) Jesinofuji 11 Posted January 5, 2003 Kotomitsuki has really fallen out of the spotlight since he was denied Ozeki promotion, and jaw injury. Last basho he managed only 8 victory's, but in the one before he did manage 12 victories in a basho with 2 healthy Yokozuna. wishes: Another Yuusho for Mickey with Ozeki promotion Yokozuna for promotion Asashoryu A healthy Year for Dejima Juryou promotion for Roho
