Japanese semi-veteran DeRosa won their first-ever Green Mawashi with nearly 60 points, well before Beeftank, Kachikoshi, and Andrasoyama (all at exactly 33.00 points). Main point-getters for DeRosa were a yusho in Odd Sumo, a jun-yusho in Ozumo Bingo Game, as well as double digits in Norizo Cup and Sekitori Oracle. Andrasoyama receives his first ever sansho, a shukun-sho for double yusho in Sekitori Oracle and -Quadrumvirate. chishafuwaku already nets his fourth gino-sho, with strong performances in pre-basho games (yusho in Roto Sumo) and daily games (Bench Sumo and Odd Sumo stick out). In Aki 2008, Norizo set a then-record of four kanto-sho. While this record now stands at 14 (Pandaazuma), it took Norizo almost 17 years to receive his fifth kanto-sho (6 games in the Top 10)! Congratulations to all the winners! Also: half-time at the 2025 Sumo Gaming World Championship. Susanoo took the lead (96.38) from Wamahada, but at the moment the race for the trophy looks incredibly open. 25 players have assembled more than 50 points in the first three basho of the year. Kaito 322 Posted May 27 I scored 30 and probably left 50+ more on the table just from a single bout result or a single close decision in half the games.
