Games talk - Haru 2025

Recommended Posts

Three kinboshi today in SekiToto:

Benihana for Shodai
Ahokaina for Chiyoshoma
Aderechelseamaru for Wakamotoharu

Could have been even more if Gonoyama had won for Ketsukai or if anybody went with Takanosho.

Good day for Exidrono.

With an average of 3.88 Day 4 of Haru'25 makes it to #23 on the list of all-time lowest scoring days in Sumo Game.

Would like to know why the originally scheduled Bout on Day 12 in Sumo Game vs. Kitakachiyama has changed and I have to fight vs. Kiriazuma now. Kitakachiyama and myself are both leading with 9-2 and have not yet met. And as far as I can see we don't meet in the remaining days.

@Xiongmao Perhaps you may have an answer as you are in contact with the games admin. Thx.

SG torikumi logic was always a mystery to me.

I noticed in my first makushita tournaments that the schedule would change towards the end so I had to face the chasers, allowing them to catch up. I would assume your match against Kitakachiyama is just being withheld until a later day.

Hi Ganzo!

I haven't asked Takanotani about this specific case but in general he always puts yusho contenders up against as many sanyaku as possible first and then, if possible, against yusho rivals like Kitakachiyama. The schedules always change for yusho contenders in the final four or five days and he will change them again as things progress so you may well end up fighting Kitakachiyama. The schedules currently viewable on the members page are not written in stone.

If you have any concerns you can contact him yourself directly on the FAQ page...he's always happy to reply.

Yes, this is a significant improvement compared to previous years (some 10, 12 or 15 years ago, when M17 could walk away with the Yusho while meeting only one or max. two Sanyaku ranked opponents). I was just irritated that the scheduled Bout between the two leaders was cancelled. Well, I had already had four Sanyaku opponents and at least two more will follow... Thx for your information.

LOL... Lucky 6-5 win in SG today. The original scheduled Bout vs. Kitakachiyama would have ended in a crushing 6-8 defeat. (Whistling...)

@Kaito Any reason why you have Takerufuji in Sumo Game but Aonishiki in Tipspiel on day 14?

I didn't check the Tipspiel rankings today, but I'm very far from the leaders. Probably so far that nothing I do matters. So I took the wrestlers I thought others wouldn't want so I can score 15 while everyone else gets 0. I thought Takerufuji would win though.

That worked out beautifully so far - with Ichiyamamoto you would get the only 15 today!
