Akinomaki 40,808 Posted May 29, 2024 Gojoro (Hamakaze) yesterday was in his hometown Sendai at the Miyagi prefectural office to do PR for the Sendai Natsu jungyo on Aug. 12th and 13th in the Aoba gymnasium, 2 days like before Corona. After 4 years again it was held last year for one day only. It started in 2015 as support for Great East Japan Earthquake, the pref. gets part of the revenue. Akinomaki 40,808 Posted August 1, 2024 (edited) Ozeki Takakeisho (with cervical vertebrae hernia) and Hoshoryu (bruised right adductor muscle) will be kyujo for the jungyo, which starts on the 4th, continuing kyujo will be former ozeki Takayasu (torn left pectoralis major muscle) and Asanoyama (left knee ACL torn and more), Onosho (right ankle arthritis, right knee ligament damage) and Chiyoshoma (lumbar vertebrae hernia) and new Endo (osteoarthritis of both knees) and Roga (torn left gastrocnemius muscle).
