Akinomaki 41,815 Posted May 14, 2019 (edited) Juryo was according to my vote, but my makuuchi top choices Tochinoshin and Enho didn't make it to the top 3 Day 3Makuuchi 1. Hokutofuji 2. Endo 3. MitakeumiJuryo 1. Kotokamatani 2. Aminishiki 3. Toyonoshima 3. Takanosho Edited May 16, 2019 by Akinomaki
Akinomaki 41,815 Posted May 14, 2019 You can vote for this poll only with the official NSK sumo app. The paid app (tanimachi) customers can do it from all over the world, the others have to give the app access to the location and have to be in the kokugikan. Voting closes at 18:30h JST. You can give each rikishi in a juryo and makuuchi bout that day a rating of: ◎○ △ × or leave him as - I don't know how this translates into the total points - it says that in tanimachi mode there are even more possibilities to vote. Since most people in the kokugikan won't wait for their vote till the last bout is over and to have a choice option for the rikishi in it (all are busy to leave then), those rikishi have a definite disadvantage. Akinomaki 41,815 Posted May 16, 2019 (edited) Till he gets his 10th win, Tochinoshin will likely be ignored Day 5Makuuchi 1. Enho 2. Abi 3. AsanoyamaJuryo 1. Takagenji 2. Irodori 3. Ichiyamamoto Edited May 16, 2019 by Akinomaki
Akinomaki 41,815 Posted May 17, 2019 This time Tochinoshin did enough to be in the rankings, but it could well have been Mitakeumi instead - plenty of foreigners are in the hall, I guess not many know how to take part in the poll - Tochinoshin needs to convince the Japanese fans and hope the hopes don't show a too good performance Day 6Makuuchi 1. Enho 2. Tochinoshin 3. Endo 3. TamawashiJuryo 1. Takagenji 2. Takanosho 2. Aminishiki

Eikokurai 3,437 Posted May 24, 2019 Asanoyama? I get that he ‘won’ but it was hardly spirited. The only spirits in that bout were the evil ones.
