Akinomaki 41,864 Posted February 12, 2013 Hakuho with Taiho's grandsonsHakuho especially is fond of Kousei, who got his first win in theteam event - after Hakuho called him to give him some encouraging words. He wants him to rise up in ozumo to meet him and win, and that to beHakuho's reason for intai. "I'll wait for this.", to be in his mid/late30s, preferably after getting 32 yusho like Taiho. At the moment Kouseiis 160cm and 80 kg.The indivudual title for primary 4 was won by the 1st son ofTokitsukaze-oyakata (Tokitsuumi), Hirokazu/-ichi 博一 Sakamoto, the 2ndson Shoshin/Masanao/... 正真 won the 1st grade title. (As always I have noidea how to correctly read the first names, when the papers don't writethe kana)M. 3rd grade Masakatsu (different Kanji but like his grandfatherKotozakura's shikona first name) Kamatani was joint 3rd, first son ofSadogatake-oyakata (Kotonowaka). No idea which grade this is:

yorikiried by fate 2,038 Posted February 18, 2013 I just realized that Hakuho increasingly looks like my brother-in-law, which is irritating as my sister is in the process of moving out. Thus, Kotoshogiku would be more appropriate. Thanks for letting me share.
Yubinhaad 11,986 Posted February 19, 2013 I've managed to piece together the podium places (well, surnames only for the most part, and my best guess at some of them) from a number of blogs; only a photo of the 6th grade podium is missing. 1st Grade Yusho - Sakamoto (Saitama) Jun-yusho - Nakayama (Fukuoka) 3rd place - Kiba (Tokyo) and Ishiwatari (Saitama) 2nd Grade Yusho - Uchida Kyota (Shizuoka) Jun-yusho - Kumagai (Tokyo) 3rd place - Kondo (Ibaraki) and Komiyama (Tokyo) 3rd Grade Yusho - Hanafusa (Tokyo) Jun-yusho - Inome (Saitama) 3rd place - Hasegawa (Aomori) and Fujita (Kanagawa) 4th Grade Yusho - Sakamoto Hirokazu (Saitama) Jun-yusho - Kojima (Tottori) 3rd place - Kitano (Tokyo) and Ezure (Ibaraki) 5th Grade Yusho - Sarukawa (Aomori) Jun-yusho - Kamei (Chiba) 3rd place - Matsunaga (Saitama) and Okita (Tokyo) 6th Grade Yusho - Toma (Okinawa) Jun-yusho - Arai (Tokyo) 3rd place - Osanai (Iwate) and Kawabuchi (Osaka) Middle School Yusho - Kato Shota (Tokyo) Jun-yusho - Matsuzaki (Tottori) 3rd place - Katsuro (Saitama) and Kamatani (Saitama) And finally, video of the competition - semi-finals and yusho bouts for each grade in the individual competition, and then there's some team competition footage I haven't had time to watch properly yet.
