Heya Pages

Recommended Posts

With Sadogatake and Tamanoi recently mentioned here, I thought people might be interested in the homepages of other stables. They are almost invariably Japanese language pages, and not all are official ones either, but I think all (at least almost all) of them have some sort of rikishi listing with pics and such that even non-japanese language forum members might find useful:

Ajigawa-beya [1]

Ajigawa-beya [2]

Araiso-beya

Asahiyama-beya (fan page, no rikishi pics) Added 2004.04

Arashio-beya Added 2004.10

Azumazeki (actually Ushiomaru HP, but features several other Azumazeki-rikishi, including Takamisakari) Added 2004.01

Dewanoumi-beya

Hakkaku-beya (fan page)

Hanakago-beya URL changed 2004.10

Hatachiyama-beya

Idzutsu-beya URL changed 2004.10

Yubi - san,

Brilliant post.

From myself a big thank you and from the others as well I'd imagine.

ANR

Plus - with yourself an 'Azuma' fan, the new stable building situation as it is understood near 'Azuma's' hometown is included on the previous post about the boys leaving town and the Brazilian questions. - May be of interest.

I know there has been an official Futagoyama-beya page! But strangely enough I'm unable to find it now... Perhaps someone "hijacked" their domain name when they forgot to renew it? Happened to a domain of my nephew's friend...

Old SML posts say the page is/was at http://www.futagoyamabeya.com/ which appears to be an unregistered domain at this point in time...is that the site you're thinking of?

I'm sure it was. It has been gone for at least a year though. Actually, Musashigawa-beya also had a home page, but that hasn't been up for about 2 years or longer. :-)
