Bataa 0 Posted March 25, 2007 think about the yokozunas smile after he lost to hakuho*( my opinion differ with quite a few people)
Jakusotsu 6,389 Posted March 25, 2007 Well, if You're implying that he threw the bout on purpose, wouldn't he rather have lost to 7-7 Chiyotaikai instead?
kaiguma 0 Posted March 25, 2007 To me, it was obviously an ironic smile. He realized he had been played as cleanly as he played Chiyotaikai. But it wasn't a pure smile at all, rather the kind of smile that is masking an inner rage and planning revenge. In fact, I'd say that smile marks the beginning of the first real chapter of their rivalry. Every thing before that was just a prelude. Asa will be ruthless the next time they meet, and I doubt he will ever willingly meet Hakuho for degeiko.
aderechelsea 125 Posted March 26, 2007 It was a "i'll kill you later for that, but now i have to keep grinning like an idiot (which is exactly what i was when i threw a henka at Taikai)" smile .... no yaocho bull... makes sense for this one. i dare the conspiracy lovers to throw me a well-founded scenario. Oh, this one took me awhile, but now that I've got it, very funny! (he's not talking to you silly Adere-san...) The conspiracy theory is Chiyotaikai paid Hakuho to pull the henka for retribution. (Neener, neener...) Nice try, but I think Chiyotaikai would much rather exact retribution himself.
Bataa 0 Posted March 28, 2007 i have to agree with kaiguma,i too thought it was an ironic smile with little bit of surprise and anger inserted

s0101 0 Posted March 28, 2007 (edited) TO ME IT WAS "IS THAT HOW YOU DO" SMILE (very ironic indeed) or "MINE WAS BETTER" ...Nice try, but I think Chiyotaikai would much rather exact retribution himself. I think too, but couldn't help ;-) thanks for reading between the lines Edited March 28, 2007 by sono
