I do not know, what my mistake was, but now it works. maybe this was not mentioned before, but the quality is really great (Shaking head...) Is there are problem, if i post my visual basic code for an automatic download of an entire day ?
-
Maybe i am making something wrong, but my internet explorer cannot find the files. Is there a problem with traffic ?
-
ISP also i think
-
You are right. I saw the 03 and stopped my brain

Thats good. Though i do not see a yusho, we should expect a Ozeki-performance of 33 in three bashos. Speaking of statistics and Ozekis, i made my first Hakke Yoi-Query and saw, that the last time someone did that other than Asashoryu and Kaio was back in 2003. That is disgusting.
-
Could you pls explain to me, what Tsuyuharai is or where i could look it up ? Since following the sumo world there always seem to be news like Asashoryu is injured, is not able to train proper, has a cold and so on. I am quite sure, that if this has happened to someone else, it would not be newsworthy. (some kind of a "dog bites asashoryu"- story)
-
I thought, that they make the plan only a few days before ? And they could switch the order, in which Asashoryu faces the Ozeki ?
-
Tochiazuma is the "obvious" vote. But for this 1) Asahoryu must not lose until day 13/14/15 (50%) 2) Tochiazuma must not injure himself (70%) 3) Tochiazuma must win (50%) --> about 15-20%, but it is difficult to find someone with a better chance Especially 1 is difficult to guess, because if Tochiazuma is still fighting on day 13, he might compete for the yusho and face Asashoryu on day 15. But then Kaio and Chiotaikai will have their chance.
-
I am much surprised and delighted, that Tochiazuma is not on your list.

I know you guys are good, but i am still amazed.

(Oops! ) i gave Toyozakura a bit of banzuke luck and he is 10e. Maybe this is to much luck. But your are right with Toki.
-
when the basho is finished, i am so sumo-exhausted, that i make a break for two weaks or so. So i always miss the discussion of the new Banzule. My banzuke contains 7 rikishi, all starting with a T, following directly after each other. Has something similar happened before (while writing this, i realise, that it is some kind of stupid. Maybe this is right for Latin, but not for Japanes ?)
-
You start at M16. I for myself have startet Sumo games last basho with 4 and this basho with a bit more and if the year keeps running good, i might make a Juryo debut by the end of the year (maybe Salarycap or Roto). But Makuuchi will take much more time.

Is there some kind of fonds or not ?

Back in 2000 i bought my girlfriend a kimono for 25000Y in Tokio, together with a video how to bind it (you MUST have this video, otherwise the kimono is useless) with the Japanese regional code. Great, i must say. In Germany, we say the video was a "fight of ants".

Dont you play hoshitori ?
-
I was just trying to make some bargain. Maybe i could get "her" telefone number for my next Hoshitori guess ? Or, "she" is a chess player and wants to gain some Elo in real life or at playchess.com ? Or life is not fair...

There is some way to get 140 kg, is there ? i once carried 180 TDM (90TE, 90T$ or 9MY) back in 99 when my parents bought a house in Stuttgart. In this time we want to save the fee for transferring money from one bank to another ( did i say that i am from Swabia ?) The second most money i was carrying was when i bought my car. I am mistakening, i think it was BEFORE the visit to the Karaoke bar in Fukuoka back in 2000.

Meanwhile i was able to watch the monday eurosport and AvdG stated, that Roho is the strongest of all rikishi. Is there some proof for that ? And additionally, there where transparents in "Japanese", well i think the first four were the short ones and then there where two long ones which i read as Tochiazuma. AvdG made a small pause and continued without mentioning the transparents. Could someone translate this.

A never ending story, Ryukaze. What would you expect to happen, that you switch to a neutral opinion ? Would be an Ozeki promotion (33 wins in three bashos) ok ? Also in Germany you have a lot Bayern M

One question about statistics: is there a way to find out, how long the top rikishi need for a victory ?

This night, i have googled Asamoe and i saw a lot of pages, which belong to me. But, i also see some pages in japanese, which "most likely" is someone else (as it does not belong to a sumo game or post). These are e.g. http://z-z.jp/?asamoe http://k.excite.co.jp/pc/Pob/TospPob020.as...samoe&yid=&SSL= http://z.peps.jp/asamoe/&s_id=duel http://yapeus.com/users/asamoe/ http://www.kolobok.ru/cgi-bin/forum/show.p...topmessage=2899 http://poteto.itits.co.jp/b.asp?S=memotyou Most of them are Japanese, but a few are also Russian. (i know at least the alphabet, as a chess player). My question: what are the other Asamoes ?

I am red-haired, i am german and Wimbeldon, call me Boris. (in fact, i have been called Boris in the early nineties)

After looking up in a dictionary what to whoop up means, i did. I also checked the results from the last years and i see, that we are "record-#2" maybe someone could give a short explaination of the scoring to me. Is it correct, that we get the points from each player and if he won the day there is a bonus (maybe double points ?). Additionally we get extra points for yusho and sansho ? In this case, the scoring is fair: newjoiners like me have a good chance of making a good score, even if they are not that knowledgable.

My three favorites: Bench Sumo (pre-basho and daily and you play against other players) ISP (you really think about the matches, but it involves more luck than S-Toto) Hoshitori - i think pre-basho games are quite similar in the mechanism, but this is the only one where i think i have a clue what to do.
