Well, did you take a look at Juryo recently ? I didn't notice that Juryo wrestler called Takanotsuru. Therefore he fought in Juryo from March 2001. He just seems to be a new version of Toki ! Really ! Both won a lot by the hatakikomi technique, and they look like twin brothers ! In fact they aren't and their stable is not the same. But it's particularly amazing ! I did not think this could be another rough-styled wrestler as Toki for the years to come. I'm really happy because I'm a great fan of Toki who's not really imaginative, who always do the same techniques, that's outstanding and that's why he's my favourite wrestler. In french, we would have called what he'd done by "Un sacr

I don't understand how one can possibly say that Toki and Takanotsuru have a similar style. I had the opportunity to watch some bouts of Takanotsuru in the stream from the NSK site and everyone would tell after two seconds at the latest that this is not Toki.

Takanotsuru's style is very much yotsu-sumo, he is going for the belt at once; a move Toki wouldn't do whatsoever. In fact, the style between those two sekitori is as different as it can be...

Great thanx for the infos posted. As a fan of Toki, it looked like a "Toki invasion" to me ! Great. Well, Doitsuyama, you're right. They really look similar physically but technically, they're not really similar, that's right. ;-)

It's (from the left) Hayateumi and Aminishiki. Especially Aminishiki looks quite different with sideburns
